Leirin, Badger & IV: As a kid growing up in the early 90s, I only watched the first gen. I even remember the Moon Dreamers’ segment theme song! I vividly remember one scene involving a kid riding a runaway bicycle down a volcano in a nightmare, but I can’t recall which ep was it! :slight_smile: Good thing I didn’t follow Gen 3.5, although I wonder whether the other gens were okay.

What was our discussion about? I have a ‘Dory’ memory… :stuck_out_tongue: Was it in the Rio thread? Anyway, MissCarerra, I really adore your avatar! One of my favourite scenes from one of my favourite movies of the year! <3 So I take it you watched the film on DVD recently? Or in theatres?

And what’s this talk about Blu looking like Eyrie? Maybe the resident Banjo-Kazooie nut (Badger) or anyone else can enlighten me?

Well everypony, this is my last avatar in the series of the Mane Cast (including Spike). I literally saved the best for last - I originally intended to use the infamous Fluttercry pic, but decided to end on a happy note with Fluttersmug. :mrgreen: I also initially planned to include Trixie, Luna and Celestia if I had the time, but the past few days were crazy hectic - I basically spent a few days preparing for a job interview, went to it, and I bagged the gig! :smiley: In addition to discovering Equestria Daily and how addictive that darn website is.

Wow, Little-chef, I never imagined you’d enjoy Homestuck! 8D I started reading it recently (I’m only on Act 2, and I’ve had most of the later acts spoiled by my sister :laughing: ), and although the language can be a little strong for my liking, it’s an enjoyable comic. And I love Jade! :smiley:

Yeah, the language makes it a bit hard to wade through, not gonna lie. xD I didn’t think I’d enjoy it either, to be honest. I’d heard a lot about it and was so tired of being confused by everyone posting about it on Tumblr, so I checked it out for myself over a week ago now. I’m already well into Act 5. I’m devouring it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Jade is my favorite character so far. She’s so sweet and she’s got the most innocent personality. :slight_smile:

Yeah, for a long time I resented it literally just because it was EVERYWHERE, and when I heard fans using all the terminology it seemed like a foreign language to me. XD But I like it!

Unfortunately, a ton of people I know use strong language, so it’s not exactly shocking, although I don’t enjoy the high frequency of it. :stuck_out_tongue: Particularly with Gamzee. (although he amuses me…) Hard to say which troll is my favorite, I’m not that far but from what I’ve seen, I quite like Nepeta and Tavros. :slight_smile:

Yeah, Jade has the nicest personality :slight_smile: I love how John’s dad torments him with Betty Crocker 8D

Yeah as far as language goes, Gamzee and Karkat are the worst. :stuck_out_tongue: Sometimes it’s done in a really humorous way though, and makes me laugh quite a bit. I just don’t like how prevalent it is.

Tavros is one of my favorites, too! I also like Nepeta and Feferi. I actually think it’s John’s dad who does that, but I get John and Dave’s names mixed up all the time so I know what you meant. xD

Anyhoo I don’t want to go off-topic too much, but I wonder how many other Planeteers read it. I should see if they have a discussion somewhere around here. C:
