Who has the best Signature?

Again, I think it looks fantastic, little_chef! And seeing your Psyche OS X sig reminds me: I have to catch up with your fanfic! :open_mouth: Arghh…!

I like 1Movie5View’s G-Force sig. More favourable reviews, I’m surprised. Then again, not really. It didn’t claim to be the smartest movie of the summer, but it may be the most fun in a GI Joe/Transformers kinda way.

And I’d like to mention Unbreakable’s sig. Wow, after Wall-E and Up, we now have a Toy Story forum? Excellent! :sunglasses:

Well, yes, I did go to see The Incredibles with my mom (and Dad, and, if I remember correctly, Papa and Nana). I don’t know if we really had a ā€œmother/daughter spark.ā€ I think it was more that it was such a turning point for Violet, very emotional and VERY believable. But it was a sweet moment for Helen and Violet, so, i guess in a way, I might have.

I see what you mean, but I thought it was appropriate to the scene. And, once I realized that he was doing it so it looked like she was singing it, I thought it was done very well. Given that you have a limited number of clips to work with and a whole song to match her lips up to, I think it was done pretty well, even if it’s not the interesting MV to watch or the best coordinated. But I see what you mean.

Well I just changed it again, so let me know what you think  .

That sig is super hilarious! I love it! She’s got such a nonchalant and annoyed look on her face, the caption is perfect! Awesome job!

I couldn’t agree more… I’m sat here chuckling at Violet Parr’s new sig.
It’s funny with the perfect pose and moment from the movie involved!

I must say I do like ffdude1906 and thewisecookiesheet’s signatures but that could be due to bias! :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks, ffdude1906 and Captain Pan  ! It does raise an interesting question though…
What’s with Super Hero Spandex? :unamused:

a) It’s durable, for all those nasty fights.
b) It’s elastic, for all those twisting, kicking and punching.
c) It’s tight, to highlight those muscles and well-sculpted bodies.
c) It’s machine-washable.
d) It comes in a range of colours (like Red and Black!).

And that’s why superheroes wear spandex. Beats cotton/fur/nylon anytime!

B.O.T. :stuck_out_tongue: Sig is awesome as usual! Made me chuckle with Violet’s unimpressed expression with the matching tagline. Reminded me of one little_chef did featuring Captain McCrea earlier. But good one, Violet Parr!

I also like AUTOA113’s promo sig for his/her new fanfic. I like tagline ā€˜Get Behind the (mind of the) Wheel’. Very futuristic fonts, I’d like to know the ones used for each line, if possible. I notice little_chef’s signature is in the corner, so I suspect she was commisioned to do this, so if that is the case, props to her, and do tell me the fonts, because I like those.

TDIT’s siggy looks absolutely beautiful It might not be France, but the bright lights makes it look so entracing.

Violet Parr: I laughed really hard when I saw your new siggy. I really like it. Spandex can be tight and a little uncomfortable, but a lot of Supers use it though.

thedriveintheatre: I really like how attention-grabbing bright your current signature is! It looks spectacular! The addition of Remy looking Singapore’s cities rather than Paris, France is a nice touch.

The Star Swordsman (or TSS, whichever you prefer to be called) : Did I mention I like your signature and the music video it advertises? It’s neat and amazing (both of them are, I mean)! TDIT did a splendid job on the signature- it brought my attention to your video immediately.

Violet Parr: Your signature is funny! I like how the caption fits Violet’s expression, so it’s really like she’s saying it. Which makes me think it’s tough being a super…yeah the suits looks awesome, but I wonder if they have difficulty putting it on…especially on a hot day when they feel sweaty and sticky, heheh.

I can’t believe it’s been this long and I dont’ recall mentioning my own signature! Well, anyway, I would really like to thank TDIT for taking his time to create a signature for me to promote my first recut trailer, Coralion. I think looks terrific, and I love the fact that he took his time with it and was okay with any comment I had to tweak it a bit. Another thing I like about it is the tagline- he made it up himself and I thought it was brilliant. Not to mention how he cleverly designed it after an original Coraline ad only with the Lion King I/II characters.

Thanks thedriveintheatre, The Star Swordsman, and bright dot-dasher  . And, yeah, spandex can be uncomfortable, but I guess it works, if so many supers use it  . But can you imagine the wedgies they must get :open_mouth:  !? Anyway, thanks for the compliments on my sig  !

You’re welcome, Violet Parr. Oh, yes, and I agree with you there. But maybe Edna designed it so that it could be more comfortable than it seems and wedgie-free…somehow…

Anyway, I also like Rac_Rules’s current signature. ā€œWho needs a vampireā€ haha! Referring to the Twilight’s Edward vs. WALL-E thing, I presume?

You’re welcome, BDD! I’m glad the effort to make it was worth it, seeing you enjoyed it so much! Wow, heh, I actually just did my own spin on the original film’s tagline, but I’m glad you like it! It’s been a pleasure working with you on this one, I have to thank you for your patience and for waiting so long for me to get off my butt and work on it. I appreciate your comments to improve the sig, as you’re the only one who can tell me if it’s to your liking. I’m always up for another collaboration (although for September and October I may be a bit busy working on my finals, I’m graduating this year. And I may be working on a little Up fanwork in time for its Oz release!). But lemme know, and I’ll see what we can work out, mmkay? :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re very welcome for the comments, Violet Parr.

…

I would like to thank DisneyDutchess and Bill for wearing my avatar and sig respectively. I’m very honoured you guys find my graphics worthy enough to be worn by you! Kowtows

I would also like to mention wannabechef’s text line under his/her sig mentioning Malaysia’s Up release! Only three more frickin’ days! What I would give to be back home in Malaysia (only few more days left to wait) or Singapore (already in release!). Ah well, I guess good things come to…

Thanks TDIT! I’ve been waiting for this day. It seems forever to wait to be honest. Now, it’s less than 24 hours left. The press here have watched the movie on last 16th August. It’s kinda unfair, but every single movie section in every newspaper in the country including Chinese & Tamil newspaper gave an outstanding review for the movie. Most of the gave Up at least 4 1/2 Star out of 5. I’m glad those people loved it. FYI, I booked a ticket last night and apparently, 2D screening was sold out. I kinda pissed out at the moment, but thank goodness there were 3D screening.

People said that Up doesn’t look good in 3D, is that correct? I really wanna watch it in 2D at the first screening. :frowning:
Whatever it is, make sure you check out my dress-up as Carl Fredricksen in less than 2 hours.
And also my official Up review and crowd reports.

P/S: TDIT, I’m a he. LOL

It’s not bad in 3D, it’s just better in 2D. The 3D is not used very well, but the movie doesn’t look bad. The issue I have with 3D is that nothing in the movie warrants a need for it, it’s pointless. I hope you have a good time, even though you more or less know what to expect since you’ve already seen it plenty of times. :stuck_out_tongue:

Back on topic, I have yet to see District 9, but I plan on it. TDIT’s sig is pretty basic, but nice.

So you mean, it’s kinda hard to watch in 3D with those glasses on?
Well, by hook or by crook, I’m gonna watch it in any format at any stakes or obstacles coming.

Oh- yeah, by ā€œmade it up himselfā€, that’s what I meant. A simple wording error…oh, and yeah, it was worth the wait! (Besides, how can I expect people to be patient with me if I’m not patient with others? I’m a worse procrastinator…) One thing that’s weird, though, is that no one else on Pixar Planet is mentioning this signature at all…have you noticed? Not on this thread…or on your Non-Pixar graphics thread… I wonder why.
But anyway, yeah, you’re welcome and also thanks again, I guess.

I noticed TDIT’s signature has to do with aliens, and so does his Avatar, while his avatar,is about the movie Avatar.

Never forget the face. Not the face of Mike Myers.
This face

And forget this face:

Family is nothing.

Hm, I’m sure even if they’re not commenting on it, they certainly would’ve noticed it and watched your video… I don’t mind, though, as long as your vid gets more views, I’m just happy that you’re happy with my work!

And so you have. Thanks!

I love Violet Parr’s new siggy. I love the bible verse that went along with it. It feels so fixing and gives a sensation of peace.

Tanks, TSS  ! I wanted to use that caption for some time now, but never had the right idea for it. I’m glad I was finnaly able to use it. Besides, she’s so darn cute when she sleeps <3
