Why do you love or hate this movie??

Omnidroid was cool. Thier should be a Omnidroid vs Iron Giant comic or something.

I agree. The Omnidroid was pretty awesome. It somehow reminds me of the Technodrome from the old TMNT cartoons.

If that were to happen, omnidroid vs iron giant, I think the iron giant would win if and when he gets provoked.

Uh, the Omnidroid was among my favorite thing from this film.

Really SoA? is it because it looks so cool and dangerous?

It was pretty awesome.

It reminds me of classic sci-fi films weaponry.

I like how they used “Droid” as opposed to “bot”. It makes the reference even better.

Yes. Maybe it’s my Star Wars upbringing, but I like droid a lot more than robot.

Yeah, I’ve always liked “droid” better. Actually, I think there may be a difference between the two. I always think of a “robot” as being something mechanical that is limited to predefined actions, while a “droid” is still a mechanical being created by humans, but can think and adapt by itself. In fact, “robot” comes from Czech word “robota”, which I believe means “forced labor”. This might imply that “robots” are just machines that go through the same motions over and over, not adaptive thinkers. :sunglasses:

I think omnidroid sounds really dangerous. And I think it’s cool how he’s equipped with anything and everything to take out anything that stands in its way.

I wonder is there anyone on Pixar Planet who doesn’t like The Incredibles?

Oh, I’m sure that there are. I’ve met a few.

There definitely are some that don’t like it. But, I wonder does anyone hate it and can give a reasonable explanation why? (on Pixar Planet that is).

Trust me, i’ve met quite a few a few years ago. And if i can remember a few reasons, they said that that action was not their movie, they were bored by it, and that they didn’t connect with the characters.

They’re entitled to their opinion, but I don’t agree with them (as you already know).

Yeah. Same here.

Exactly. To me, The Incredibles is far from being my favorite Pixar film, but it would be impossible to argue it’s a bad movie, or that it’s hateful, cause it’s really wonderful despite personal preferences.

These are exactly my sentiments as well.

Snipe: Exactly!! The word droid is way better, and that’s a good reason.
