Yeah. It’s what, less than a year away now? Ten months? All I get in my Cars 2 research is that they’ll be traveling the world in a race.
Is anyone else worried?
I’m worried, but I think it will do okay. It doesn’t matter, because Toy Story 3 got Pixar so much money. 
It’s seems odd though that there is nothing new being shown, yet.
I’m sure it will too with John Lasseter back on the team 
But still, I get so scared thinking of their perfect streak and how a movie could end it, but not just Cars 2. Brave, Monsters Inc 2… who knows. But I trust them.
I’m surprised, too. The teaser is supposed to be out with the TS3 DVD right?? At least that’s what I heard

Then we can judge if it’s going to be good or bad.
The teaser probably won’t even give us a clue to what it’s really about. Who could’ve guessed Up was going to be so emotional? And when Cars came out it looked bad to me, but here I am, on a Pixar fan forum talking about how much I love it. You never know

Honestly, I have no idea. I’ve never followed a movie coming out before, really, so this is a first for me. I hope soon after the teaser! I still can’t believe it’s less than a year away!

Cars was the first movie I followed before it came out… in fact, Cars is what started my love for Pixar. 
“Simple” isn’t really synonymous with bad in my opinion really anyway, sometimes a lot can even just be said in a look or expression of a character, something realitively simple which can stablish the ‘mood’ as it were. Sometimes a simple plot can still say a lot too.
I wonder what the overall plot or thing McQueen will have to work through will be though? It seems ‘main character learns something’ is a staple of most Pixar movies.
Well actually that’s a staple of MOST movies in general not just Pixar, but yeah. Anyone hazarding guesses as to what the lesson or uhhh ‘drive’ could be for this sequel? Or heck is McQueen going to be even the one learning it?
I’m also wondering about Doc Hudson too though in general, I quite liked him as a character.
I’m wondering (though not as the overall lesson) whether it can show the difficulty of sometimes combining both work with your friends. High stressed situations and all…
Plus… hey here’s an idea, what if McQueen gets seriously hurt or something? In real life (and it seems in the movie), those races can be high risk and well, loved ones worry and it can be pretty strained from what I’ve heard sometimes in real life for those sorts of sports. Lots of arguments and so forth. Could there be a story there? I mean seems McQueen didn’t have anyone who’d be (emotionally speaking) be very worried and heart wrenched about his physical well being before he met the others.
Things have changed now. That’s BETTER. But yeah, it could result in complications for someone in a high risk sport. Tensions, arguments, worry… well you know. Seeing your loved one crash really badly for the first time would be probably pretty hard on Sally and others for instance…

Okay. Phew. I’m hopinh in the movie it’s obvious that he’ll live, so I don’t feel as bad And that can’t be the whole movie, so yay!
It will be obvious. I can tell because it’s most likely going to play out just like the Cars Toons.
