That is a good point, it’s a bit of an inbetweener film, unfortunatly :slight_smile:. Oh well, personally I will always have fond memories of it, it’s like a childhood staple. You should’ve seen my face when I saw it was on Disney Cinema after about 9 years of not seeing it 8D

I think we’ve already concluded why A Bug’s Life is underrated, it was in the wrong place at the right time, the right message with the wrong propriety for the children, the wrong transition with the right theme.

  1. Stuck in between Toy Story 1 and 2.
  2. New, darker side to Pixar than most films.
  3. Film not entertaining most of the young population (due to it’s darker nature).
  4. Violence?
  5. Sudden New Step into Pixar films (like step 2).
