Worst animated movies of all time?

Yep, that definitely looks like some kind of animation company trying to be like Pixar. I bet they’d even try and make a sequel for it…

I agree with almost everyone so far, so I’m not going to repeat. I’ll start with another one?

Not sure if this will get a good reaction, but I couldn’t sit still while watching Dumbo. All I can remember are the strange colors & music, which made me verrrry dizzy. Of course, that was a few years ago and I had no appreciation for film. I’m not saying it’s the worst of all time (you guys have me covered on those lol), but should I try again…? What do y’all think of Dumbo? Wasn’t it one of the (or the?) first animated Disney movies?

I love Dumbo. A very cute story with a very cute elephant (with abnormally huge ears). I always fell asleep durring the pink elephants part of the movie though.

No, I mean that cheap spoof. Check this thread out.

pixarplanet.com/forums/viewt … =ratatoing

And TDIT, no but by the looks of it, it looks like the worst film of all time.

xHaleyx33- Dumbo is a bit of a drug trip, especially if you watched it when you were young, but it’s actually a really good Disney classic for adults to watch. You’re right in that it was one of Disney’s earlier movies and as far as I can remember, it’s only about an hour long because it was made during the war when movie budgets were really tight. But definitely well worth trying again to appreciate the stranger sequences in the film.

I stopped watching after 45 seconds because it looked like they were floating through space on a row boat… awful.

you were right it was horrible i couldnt finish it

Titanic Animated can still be pretty entertaining in a So Bad It’s Good way if you watch it with enough friends that you can start making fun of it. You know, a Party movie.

that is a good idea

worst animated movie of all time?

Tom and jerry the movie!

Just read through this thread, some interesting choices i think.
Titanic is in my opinion the worst by a mile. Other ones mentioned here i feel have bad story lines/ voice acing but the animation isn’t exactly terrible.

Happy Feet didn’t have a great plot, especially the second half but i don’t really feel the animation can be faulted, i personally thought it deserved the Oscar.

There are some films mentioned in this thread that shock me, i know it is all down to opinion but snow white and jungle book? I just cannot comprehend how people can view them as their worst animated film of all time

Oh lord, where do I get started?

Happy Feet
The Wild (lets see…Madagascar and the Lion king blended into one)
Shrek 3
ALL of the Land before Time movies
ALL the Tom and Jerry movies
and pretty much all of Tim Burtons stuff. (im gonna get hung for saying that)
Ant Bully
Star Wars cartoon movie
I do believe theres more. but, I’ll refrain

Even the first Land Before Time? Then again, I probably haven’t seen that since it was theaters so it may be bad and I may not know it.

DitryBirdy, Tim Burton has only made (directed) one feature length animation which is The Corpse Bride, Beetle Juice had stop motion elements in it but was mostly live action.

DitryBirdy said “stuff” not just ones he directed, so that would include Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach.

my apologies, i misunderstood

I’m sorry to all the fans out there, but I could not even get through the trailer to Alvin And The Chipmunks, let alone the entire film. There voices… it just drove me crazy  . I did not really enjoy Surf’s Up as much as I thought I did actually too… humor over the top with that too.

One film that probably isn’t that good animated wise is We’re Back A Dinosaurs Story, that has John Goodman play the main character, Rex. Although, I actually really liked this, it has a very, uh, ‘cheesy’ storyline and in places, ‘crude’ animation. It was basically made as an alternative to Jurassic Park really in my opinion, as Steven Spielberg assisted in it’s making, it even has Jurassic Park advertised within the film and I remember reading an article online somewhere about reviewers recommending this to young children over Jurassic Park, because of the deemed scary scenes. I must have watched Jurassic Park when I was 5 and loved it! Yet… I’ve only seen this movie more recently. It’s the song that got me hooked on it  ‘Roll Back The Rock To The Dawn Of Time’!

Secret of nimh
That dreamworks horse movie
Atlantis
Rock-a-Doodle
Cool World
Roger Rabbit

All dreadful films, and not worthy of anyone’s time.

Are you joking, CartoonBoy? I thought Atlantis was a terrific film, considering it is one of Disney’s more (not very, but fairly) recent 2-D features.

For terrible animated films, I’m going to say Antz, Shark Tale and Shrek 3. I’m sorry Dreamworks, but these really are feeble attempts, although I did enjoy Monsters vs. Aliens
