no matter how many people say 'animation

is for little kids’ and no matter how much people deny it, deep down inside everyone loves Pixar cuz we are all

geeks and nerds at heart

Absolutely no one.

To tell you the truth, I haven’t

yet. Everyone can agree that Pixar is the animation juggernaut of the world.

Pixar’s great. So far, I haven’t met anyone

that hates it

Do you know how much I

loathe it when people say that! It really “grinds my gears”. And yes I do know people who hate Pixar

and hate the Incredibles and love Dremworks. I don’t mind Dreamworks. I enjoyed Madagascar. No where near as

good as some of Pixar’s flicks but still great for a laugh. Some people just dont get it.

Yeh, although in real life I don’t think I

met a person who hated Pixar, there are definitely those on forums who’d be like "Pixar sucks, Dreamworks

rules!" Maybe we should make a thread about those two studios… I’d have quite a bit to say on that.

No, I dont think people do get it. And now that Horror movies are in, kids would rather watch

a bloddy gorey movie than Pixar, I find that insanley sad. I have a teacher (whom is an artist) and she says

that Pixar teaches kids to be rotten and encourages a smart mouth, I have no idea where she gets that from. I

try my best to promote Pixar in everyway I can, but explaining the whole process, or explaining some of what the

animators might be going through to the kids, I explain how one frame took up 7 hours to possibly 2 days

depending on what was in the frame. I got alot of kids hyped and ready for the next Pixar film here in Crescent

City and word really does get around.

Fortunately, I don’t know anybody who hate Pixar. But if I ever met a person who

does, I’ll make sure he changes his opinion

Yes, sadly, I DO know of some people who absolutely HATE

Pixar, because they are either hard-core “purists” who despise ALL CGI animation, or because of

Pixar’s association with Disney, which they hate even worse.

I know a woman in our community who has

been known to actually picket the release of a Pixar or Disney movie in our little town theater, claiming that

they are “evil influences” on children! Her assumptions are based largely on her believing all the

stuff about pornographic images in certain Disney films, much of which has been debunked on Snopes.com, and on

Disney World hosting “Gay Days” in Orlando, which she claims is the epitome of all evil. Thankfully,

she has a real job now that leaves no time for this; even our former pastor told her that she was going too far

overboard and embarking on what amounted to a witch hunt, and needed to concentrate her efforts on doing

something good for the community instead of trying to find Satan behind every rock and

tree!

Everyone I know is either a fan or so-so. Better then having a crazy anal-retentive resident in town though!

I’ve never met anyone who HATES PIXAR . . . they may not be as much of a fan of it either,

but they’ve never openly despised it!

Which is fine by me.

One time I was convincing someone how I

was itchin’ to see Cars and the two things that come with it in theatres (the Short

& Teaser), and he was just laughing at me. I was like, "When was the last time you saw a PIXAR film in

theatres?" He replied, “Not since Monsters, Inc.” I urged him to go

see Cars, as well as see The Incredibles, which he

never saw either. “Isn’t that a kid’s film?” he says. "It’s a film for the whole family . . .

especially YOU!" says I.

So he comes back a few weeks later and tells me how HE’S itchin’ to see

Cars and how much he already LOVES The

Incredibles!

Aw . . . another conversion . . .

And as a new convertie, I told him

the inside scoop on Cars: Get there early to see the Teaser & Short . . . and

don’t – DON’T – leave until the very – VERY – end of the film!!

He listened . . . and he loved

it!

I remember this one guy. He didn’t like Pixar movies. So I took

him to watch Monsters Inc. He thought it was ok. Then, we watched Nemo. He got a little interested. Incredibles

and Cars totally changed his mind

Sounds like my brother, except about Cars. :stuck_out_tongue:

But

seriously, after showing him The Incredibles, he said he didn’t really care for it, probably because it’s so

different from all the other Pixar movies. I told him that was the reason they made the movie because Pixar

wanted to do something different. Oh well. Not everyone has to be a fan. But someday…I shall brainwash him.

How can anyone

hate Pixar? I mean, someone tell me.

No one I know hates it. Some don’t watch it. But they

don’t know what they’re missing.

AFTB? How about you drag

one of your friends who don’t watch Pixar into a movie theater, ducttape their body to the seat, and force them

to watch it?

That’d be cruel Swordsman, because then they won’t be able to laugh!!

If I were you, I’d let them watch in peace. Let them decide if they like it or not. Who

knows? They might like it so much, they’ll want to come back and watch it

Or, write them a persuasive essay, convincing them to go. (Okay, I’ll end the nerdy side of me)
