You know what really grinds my gears?

That sucks… :frowning:

What infuriates me is when people mock us Christians and say we’re close-minded and other insults. I saw a lot of videos on YouTube when I was searching for more about evolution (just trying to learn more about it), and somewhere in each video, description, or the comments, there’s some statements that offend Christians. Really angers/bugs me.

the bible says that people will do that…

what we should do is just shrug it off and keep moving forward becuase we know what is right.

But surely comments like that, Al-Bob, sort of support the things that are said about Christians?

I hate it when it’s freezing cold in the morning and have a shower, and step from my lovely warm bathroom into my freezing cold bedroom.

I hate it when its a class change, and the halls are flooded, and people just mozy along instead of walking. Its hard enough to get through the halls when people ARE moving! Or worse, just stand in the middle of the hall. I mean, COME ON! We have to get to class! In our school, if you are late nine times you fail the class for the semester. YOUR POKYNESS EFFECTS MY GRADE! MOVE IT!

Sorry I’m on this board a lot. I’m kinda stressed right now. (sorry if this post sounds conceited, I’m blowing steam)

I AM SO FLIPPEN MAD!
I have always gotten good parts in school plays. I moved up to a secondary school this year (which means both middle and high) and my school only has a high school play, but middle schoolers can try out. This is why I’m mad:
Two of my friends got in, and I didn’t. We where always on the same page last year, in fact one usually got smaller parts than me. Well, I figured that they got in because they do tap, and it is a tappy play. That is fine, but they also have siblings who are in the plays, so the director is kinda obligated to put them in. (She is also the chorus teacher, mind you) My mom pointed out that their parents also run the biggest chorus fundraiser for years, so how could she leave them out? So, 66% of the reasons they got in and not me are not even in my control! I guess that’s how high school plays work.

Luckily, my friend said they are reworking the cast list because a lot of people dropped out, so there is still hope.

Some are close-minded, but the ones that aren’t, I have respect for. My faith tolerates and embraces any sort of faith, even if we don’t believe in it. But the ones that refuse to be enlightened by others and simply want to enlighten other people (God Warrior, anyone?) those sorts of people really grind my gears. :stuck_out_tongue:

What grinds my gears right now? People bothering to care about how other people living their lives. Celebrities, for example. Give them a break, Jesus Christ! Who are you? Their momma?!

no…we’re just worried. Plus we are excited to share the good news that makes our lives so enjoyable and full of life.

W-Boon: Different people care about different things. shrug As far as celebrities go, I care/worry about only the ones I actually like, and they’re not so often in the daily little ‘update’ magazines.
It’s human nature to be nosey I suppose, but some people go over the edge. They care too much about people they could never possibly truly know, especially not through tabloids and magazines and stuff … but I can relate on how people would be interested in knowing more about them and what they’re doing. It just … goes over the edge. :stuck_out_tongue:

i don’t know if this has already been mentioned, but Chavs on the bus playing their music at full volume! :imp:

Oh my God, I hate that so much! but I guess we’ll be the ones laughing when their 30 and deaf.

LOL…that is correct.

Those people will suffer from their decisions.

What’s Chavs?

One thing that I know annoys me constantly is dogs barking. I have two bulldogs, two chihuahuas, a pomeranian, and a pomchi puppy. They sometimes listen when I yell at them to shut up, but the pomchi likes to get the last bark in and play keep-away when I try to grab him and tell him ‘no’. He knows better; he just likes to mess with me, and after dealing with school and stuff … I’m cranky and I don’t like to be messed with. xD And they know it.

Another thing is my Amazon Parrot. She thinks I’m her mommy, and even when she’s not hungry, she’ll squawk like crazy if she hears me. I can’t even feed myself first in the morning before I feed her! I almost did, once, but then my dog suddenly didn’t recognize me and kept barking, and I yelled at her to shut up and … yep, my parrot heard me. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s not ordinary “oh how hard is it to pour her some parrot seed” either. No, this bird is 14 years old and still eats hand-feeding formula. For baby birds. She pretends to be dying if she doesn’t get it. Spoiled brat. :stuck_out_tongue:

chavs, a UK term for “Juvenile Delinquents” or People that sit on the bus listening to rap music so all the bus can hear it.

Also no offence to the americans here, but hoe the whole world stops for the US election. To be honest, why should I have to constantly watch updates on the US election when we have our own politics here that are much more relevant to me! Sure, keep me updated, but not constantly!

Yeah, I’ll ditto that last part, WALL-E. No-one really gave a hoot about who our PM was gonna be when Gordon Brown went into office (neither did I, if I’m going to be honestn :stuck_out_tongue:) but I also really don’t care that much about who ends up to be President. I do favour one candidate over the other, but only because of pureply superficial reasons. But the fact that they’re always talking about it on TV and in the newspapers is pretty irritating.

And yes, chavs are incredibly annoying. I’d be quite happy to burn every pair of Uggs on the planet.

I’m dressing up as gordon brown for hallowe’en  :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL

you should look just like an old man…good idea Walle

have you seen Gordon Brown?

just looked him up…he looks pretty old.
