Something that doesn’t annoy me so much, but I don’t understand why people say it: when people say “Yeah, that person has turned their life around, they’ve done a complete 360.” Uh, the number you are looking for is ‘180.’ If they did a 360, they’d figuratively be right where they started.
And whenever you have to get up early all you want to do is sleep in and stay in bed as long as possible before you have to get up, but when you have a day off, your brain wakes you up even before your alarm goes off and you can’t go back to sleep.
when you make TWO thought-out posts on a forum (not this one) and they both get deleted. It was an argument that I inadvertently started over the US election, I leave the forum for two days, and thr election thread had been split, and there were three pages about what I said. So I make a pretty long post. One of the people against me is a moderator, and I suspect he/she deleted them both. when the post was deleted, there was a mod online in the past 5 minutes!

What grinds my gears now is that whole planned Obama assassination. People are just plain sick.
Another thing, totally unrelated, is that my music videos look like they’re in sync when I preview them on my program, but then they’re out of sync when I spend 5 long minutes saving the project.
Those aren’t the only people who are sick. What I really find to be sickening and confusing (I know I’ve talked about this like thousands of times already, but just treat it as a rant) is how some losers would go and post an insult about someone or something, get hundreds of people who are probably as equally mentally ‘idiotic’, if you will, to support that insult, and he would go like, “Hey, look, I just trolled that video! How freaking awesome am I? And those losers are even trying to defend it! Haha, losers.”
Ok, I am Christian, but one thing I hate is Christians saying that Halloween is anti-Jesus and a worship of the devil. First of all, I don’t worship the devil (obviously) and celebrating Halloween isn’t bringing me any closer to it. Do these people forget that Halloween was adapted by the Church as a day to honor the dead, but the traditions just molded in with Sahmain’s? There is a reason All Saints Day takes place the day after! I mean, my CHURCH has Halloween celebrations, how can it be a worship of the devil then?
What grinds my gears is when people think All Hallows Eve has anything to do with “the devil” to begin with. It’s supposed to just be the one night out of the year where the spirits of the dead could return to earth, or so they say.
What also grinds my gears is when adults behave like children and hold grudges over little things that were said … five years ago. But anyways, I don’t think I would like to see my aunt again; perhaps my cousin, but then she can be rather mental … this means I don’t know anyone besides my mom and my grandpa from my mom’s side – my grandpa isn’t much since he’s losing his mind and constantly doing stupid and harmful things to the family that he felt was right at the time.
I hate that my big roller backpack keeps on tripping people during a rushed passing period- and the people who have tripped over will glare at me for a short while and say something unkind. I know, gotta get used to it and get over it.
I’m sorry to laugh, but if I have a penny, no, a tenth of a penny, even, for every girl (not even counting the guys) of that sort, I’d be typing this in a private villa right now. People are like that, and we could do is come to a community of such aspects and rant about it. Yet, the world is still spinning the good ol’ three hundred and sixty degrees and people are still jerks and spreading their irritants amongst our peaceful society, or at least, their chaotic society which we unfortunately stumbled upon.
It would be my displeasure to introduce you to a close friend of mine - this is “The World.” It’s cynical. It’s selfish. It’s cruel. Typical and unchangeable.
At first, I thought of going back into that part of the world (the ‘YouTube gang’) and treat them the same manner as they had treated me; mean, nasty, creating complete chaos amongst them. It got tiring after merely a day or two. I began to move on with my life, entertaining myself rather than those strangers.
Not sure where I’m going with this (as I was unsure of where my past rants were going while typing them), but I guess what I’m trying to say is that is that pondering/worrying//stressing/etc. over such matter ain’t really productive. I’ve seen some people doing some bad things (even though I have not personally encountered some of those acts myself) and they never changed. Some of them have some hope of changing, but as the wise old Alfred said, “Some people just like to watch the world burns.”
I have to add something for that:
They are getting scurvier with every passing day. And not just them but a lot of girls too. Two of the boys were riding with their bikes in circles and everytime they passed by me, they jostled. Then they blamed me for not being careful, even though they did that on purpose. After a while, they parked their bikes and were running in circles. Again they jostled.
Later at the bus two girl sat behind me and repeatly opened my school bag. Thankfully nothing was stolen but still it’s private property.
Then when we arrived at the bus station and we were on our way to school (their school is right next to mine). One boy attacked me from behind by running and pushing me. I wore my school bag on the back and it was really heavy today, so I fell on the ground hard, resulting a little blood on my hands and a painful bruise on my left knee (its hurt everytime I move).
I don’t know why they did that. I have never done anything worng with them, in fact I don’t communicate with them. They started to bully me since I moved there which was in April 2007, starting with insults and telling me that somebody I never said before loves me and/or wants you know what.
Ok, I’m cool with Obama being elected, but what really annoys me is when people in my school say “Oh, McCain sucks, Obama will bring hope and change blah blah blah” and when I challenge them, they shrug and say “Cause he sucks and Obama is so much better” Ya know, someone has to have a REASON to suck. They don’t just suck. Or when people claim that I’m “racist” just because I don’t like Obama.
And my sister was working at the polls yesterday, and there where actually people outside the entrance acting violent to try and scare white people into not voting, and the police only sent one away that had a stick because of “freedom of speech”
I really hate it when my parents fight over the slightest little thing. I’m serious. Really reallly really small things that could just easily be forgotten. And they try to rant to me, and when I try to end the fight, they just want me to stay out of it.
I know. I am happy for them. It is nice to see another team besides the Seahawks win the division. Warner should be put into consideration for MVP voting.
When a stranger around my age calls me honey or sweetie. Seriously, I expect that from a guy who has his head stuck in post World War II. It’s just plain awkward coming from a college or high school student.
Ok, I’m Youtube, minding my own business, trying to watch some nice pro-Republican videos, and then BAM! I’m hit with a bunch of stupid comments about how Bush is dumb and ruined America and was the worst president ever and BLAH BLAH BLAH! I mean, if you hate the guy so much, WHY. ARE. YOU. WATCHING. THE. VIDEOS. I love how these people never actually use facts, only insults, when you challenge them. Sorry dude, but the argument that “Bush is an idiot” does not support the comment that “Bush is an imbecile”. Get a job, and get a life! Sheesh!
What angers me now is something that cannot be slammed at like the ireful haters in Rac’s case. What irritates me currently - computer programs.
And not just ordinary computer programs, it’s probably one of the most commonly used programs Pixar Planet forum members use constantly throughout their forum life; the video editing tool.
Ah, yes, the video editing tool. dramatic BGM starts playing The comforting sounds of your excellently made videos making into the honorary system of YouTube like some lucky fool had his video admitted just recently.
I tried Windows Movie Maker at first, but it sucked. Its effects and transitions were of low quality and appeared unprofessional. HOWEVER, the ironic thing is this. I tried using the Adobe Premier Pro CS4 trial version (I couldn’t really afford even a packet of rice nowadays, less an advanced video editing program), and it sent the lag train on me! It kept on lagging away when I initiate playback on the timeline (the area where you edit your various clips). The audio was fine, but the video couldn’t follow with the sound. It was so frustrating that I worked on it for an hour or so, and guess what? I managed to put together three to five clips in that amount of time with the notorious Windows Movie Maker.
Ironic.
If only there is like a great video editing tool with no bugs, period, and allow users to take up a certain amount of a trial period at the least, then our world would be a much better place.
Or when people claim that I’m “racist” just because I don’t like Obama.
