They kept pressing rewind and fast-forward and pausing the film… Not to mention they were silent the whole movie, but at the most emotional part they began laughing and talking. Urgh!
Suicidal People don’t annoy me, they disturb me. Notice the term “awkwardly grind my gears”? I know it isn’t right to get annoyed by these people until you can walk in their shoes, I’m just really hoping with my knowledge that I can release them from it. I think with my condition, I’ve developed some kind of psychology seeing that I act and work in disturbing ways and also tend to be observant with the world around me.
Suicidal people don’t annoy me.
Being told that no one likes me grinds my gears. very.
Sometimes, I grind my own gears.
Yes, that tends to happen to me too.
Oh… What really grinds my gears? Moderators on websites who think they’re all that and a bag of chips because they happen to moderate the place. Previously, before I saw PP, I was on a reviewing website with lots of trolls and horrible moderators who deleted everything that didn’t conform to their standards. Trolls kept sending the moderators crap telling them the person was being mean and breaking the rules because they were REVIEWING a show they liked negatively, forgetting the entire point of the site was to review TV shows. Eventually I was banned from the site, to the great sadness of my few friends there. Lucky for me, PP has very nice moderators.
SullyMike: Yeah, that really annoys me, too. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, ever since I started browsing these boards back in late '06, early '07 right up until I joined in Jan of '09, I’ve always been impressed by the mods here. They truly set the standard for website moderating, and I’ve always thought that PixarPlanet has the best of the best. They’re all so kind and understanding, but firm when they need to be, and they never correct troublesome members in a demeaning or rude way.
What grinds my gears sometimes, and it’s probably a really stupid thing that only annoys me, is when people think their fancharacters are superior to other fancharacters in a given fandom. There’s people that I hypothetically ‘rub shoulders’ with on deviantART, mostly in the HtTYD fandom, that act like this… one in particular, though, who thinks her ‘hypothetical’ spawn of the different characters from the film are the most perfect ones in existence… when they all look exactly the same to me, have very predictable personalities and looks based on their parents’ features and personalities, and their life stories are extremely cliche. Yet this particular person who created these characters and these stories truly think that her writings and drawings about them are all that.
When I create fancharacters, I go to great lengths to make sure their personalities are original and not modeled too much after their parents, so they’re still their own person. Way too many times I see someone who creates ‘so-and-so’s son’ and that son happens to act/look EXACTLY like his father or something, and it shows total lack of creativity. While it’s true that children often draw different personality traits from their parents, they’re still an individual and have their own way of thinking and seeing the world. It may even be completely different from their parents, depending on what happens to them in life.
Anyway, yeah. That annoys me to death. xDDD

That’s why we’re friends here…all one big community. Maybe we should have a new home theme, one that has all the Pixar characters on it and a caption, “We are Family.”
I agree on both those points…it annoys me SO much. Why are they arrogant jerks?
EDIT: Merged your posts and shortened the quote. No need to quote entire posts, and double-posting isn’t allowed, unless it’s made 24 hours later. - little chef
SullyMike: I think that’d be a great theme to have! Unfortunately the guy who is capable of coding and changing themes, Phileas, is extremely busy and hasn’t had time to make any new themes for the site. If I were skilled enough to make such a thing, I would!
And in reply to your thing about people being arrogant jerks, haha, I don’t know… some people are really just full of themselves. xDDD

Ask him later, then? And thanks for merging the posts–I know, right? Some people are full of themselves…
I hate it soo much when people are loud at a movie theater. I paid good money to get in there, and they just ruin it for me. I love it when someone just turns around and tells people to quiet down, though, then I’m internally thinking “I love you”
I can totally relate with that.
Yes…all these complaints are mine as well…
I hate when I get a massive hair cut, then have a head ache for a week afterwards.
Spambots. Ughhhh fkdjfdf
How we manage to get a whole ton of them now is baffling me. We never had this many show up until after the site was revamped. I know everyone hated the security thing we had before during sign-up, but it seemed to effectively keep bots away cuz it was so hard. Now they’re coming in like crazy.

100% agreed!
agreeing with both of the people above me
-nods and agrees- I think they have nothing else to do…
I can’t help it, but I still am a bit offended by that statement. How can they disturb you? They’re people too, but with problems out of their control.
SullyMike: Aw, I’m glad you think the mods are nice!
Very nice.
Well this dosen’t grind my gears but it’s a little concerning, but I notice that most of the Mods on here are people who don’t like Cars.It seams kinda…bias…
