Yeah, very, very nerve-wracking indeed. But I think, overall, it went pretty well. It was great fun doing it with you three- you’ve got such good voices for commentating!
I like how we have three different accents, but we all speak English. The three caballeras!
I’ve finished the editing. We had some synchronization problems, so that’s something to take care of in future commentaries. However, overall I think it’s pretty good for a first attempt. =) I decreased the video quality so that it’s just good enough to sync our DVDs with it. We can pass around the file via Skype file transfer. I’ll be on Skype for a little while longer tonight and also tomorrow.
If you’re going to sync it with the video, please upload it to Google Video or something so we can all view it. I can’t wait!

I loved listening to both you and lizardgirl converse. I think you guys really made the commentary what it was, since you both did the most talking during the session. You guys have awesome accents! (heheh)
If it’s all right with everyone else, I’d like to participate in the next meeting (for Your Friend the Rat) so as to get increasingly more comfortable. One commentary was definitely not enough to unleash the butterflies I had in my stomach.

A113 - I’m wary of uploading it to Google Video because they want us not to upload videos “unless they consist entirely of content you created yourself.” Secondly, Google Video has automatic copyright detection software, this commentary may set off that software and send a note to Disney. A worst case scenario would be that Disney would force us to stop doing commentaries. I’d much rather have this hosted on Pixar Planet somehow. However there are synchronization problems in it, so maybe it’s not good enough to release to the public. Do you have AIM or Google Talk or Yahoo IM? I could send it to you one of those ways.
Mitch - Log on to Skype and choose to accept the file transfer once the prompt appears. Let me know you’re logged on by sending me a chat message.
Edit: I suppose if Disney really doesn’t want us doing this, hosting the file on Pixar Planet will only delay the inevitable. But a delay would give us time to do some more commentaries.
On the other hand, I’ve read some material on copyright law and what we’re doing may constitute “fair use” since we wouldn’t really damage Disney’s profits by releasing these commentaries…

The Star Swordsman - Heheh. Yes, that’s true. The experience was an interesting one, that’s for sure. I thought that you did quite well, especially since you’ve commentated on Radio Pixar in the past and, thus, have had some former experience.
