Good:

Bad:

A Bug’s Life
hugozepro: Im glad you got the Incredibles in your number 1 slot. But Did you really dislike Finding nemo, Cars, and A Bug’s Life that much to call them bad? I’m just asking.
The Star Swordman:
They are not that bad or awful, I just categorized them so.
They are still good movies, just less interesting than the other ones (according to me):
Cars is pretty entertaining and nice to look at, but the plot is too poor and ordinary. Characters are hugely stereotyped (Flash McQueen is so “deja vu”). And, seriously, I don’t like at all the “human-like cars” concept.
Finding Nemo’s story is original (a clownfish trying to find his son), but pretty boring and has clearly a lack of stake. Nevertheless the movie is funny… until you’re 15 (Dory is pathetic).
A Bug’s Life can also be an enjoyable film, but, just like Cars and Finding Nemo, the movie is essentially made for kids.
This is why I categorized them as “bad”, but it’s, after all, my personal opinion.
Kids movie?Uhhh…no,but your opinion doesn’t determine wether the movies were good or not…
P.S I’m not leaving just yet…
They are not intended to be movies just for kids. I mean, don’t you even see all the reviews each Pixar movie receives (and a true Pixar fan would)? Most of the time, if not all of the time, they say “A movie for the whole family!” and if it says anything about kids, it’ll say, “For the kids from 1 to 100!” I have not once seen evidence in my whole life saying and/or proving that Pixar creates movies “just for kids”.
Kaaaa-CHOW!
They determine to him whether they are bad or not though, and to him, that’s mainly what counts. Someone else may think a movie is the greatest on earth, but that doesn’t mean it IS the greatest on earth. Works both ways.
Touche, Mykonos_Fan. That is true!
Well, I might as well make my list.
Now first of all, I love ALL of the Pixar movies and not once have desired to give any of them bad opinions or any amount of criticism (like putting some movies in a “bad” category). So instead of making a favorite-movie list, which would put my least favorite -a.k.a. “bad” movie- on the bottom, I made a list of which Pixar movies I enjoy watching the most of… like over and over again, NOT a “I’d rather watch this than this one”. In that way, all of the movies are my favorite! Everybody wins!!!
(Sadly, I haven’t seen Up yet, so I can’t put it “up” there yet! )
I think you forgot to put WALL-E on that list.
Dang it! I KNEW I was forgetting something! Just proves I need to watch it more, lol! And I love that movie too! I am SO mad at myself.
Okay…
Aaannd, I still haven’t seen Up since I’ve last been on here which was an hour or so ago. So… sorry about that, Up-Fans.
(a less enthusiastic and more embarrassed) Ka-chow…
No love for the Incredibles huh Sally Jonson?
Oh I LOVE that movie too! I just don’t like to watch it as much. And ya know why? Of course not… so I’ll tell ya. My brother has had to watch that movie EVERY SINGLE DAY since we got it (which was when it first came out to dvd), so it’s stuck in my head ALL THE TIME!!! I still love the movie, it’s just on all the time so I woouln’t want to actually sit down and watch it for the millionth time in a day. See what I mean? I’d go nuts!
So like I said, my list was the movies that I would like to sit down and watch the most, not the most-favorite-movies list.
1-Up
2-Ratatouille
3-The Incredibles
4-Toy Story 2
5-Cars
6-Toy story
7-Finding Nemo
8-Monsters Inc.
9-WALL-E
10-A Bug’s Life
I decided to wait until after I finished watching Up to do this, so here goes:
Why is Toy Story in the 1st place spot? Because if it weren’t for it being the 1st CGI animated feature ever and the success of it Pixar would not have had any of their other features, nor would other studios today have had their own. Rating Pixar films is not easy for me since I truly like all their work equally, but I just went with the order that felt best in my mind.
Okay! I’ve FINALLY seen Up, so now here’s the official list!
Not that I think that any of them is bad, I just enjoy some more and some not so much.
I love every PIXAR film, but I never enjoyed Cars very much. It was fun but I don’t like the idea of talking cars.
I have been meaning to make this post for a while! I just haven’t been here in a while. Anyway, before I went an saw Up, each night I would watch one of the Pixar movies in the order that I came out, but I started with The Pixar Story documentary. From Toy Story to WALL-E. I just thought that it might make me look more forward to Up and make me enjoy it more. Also, I wanted to celebrate Pixar making 10 films. After watching all of them, it helped me to come up with a list of which movies were my favourite to least favourite, and here it is:
10. A Bug’s Life- 4 stars
9. Cars- 4 and a half stars
8. Ratatouille-4 and a half stars
7. Up- 4 and a half stars
6. WALL-E- 5 stars
5. Monster’s Inc.-5 stars
4. The Incredibles-5 stars
3. Toy Story- 5 stars
2. Finding Nemo- 5 stars
I’ve only seen 7 out of the 10 Pixar films.
Why is Finding Nemo last? Because it came out in 2003 and I was 8. Now I find the movie is kid-ish. I still consider it a good movie.
Why is Toy Story first? Not only is it the best Pixar film but it’s the first and best computer animated film.
Predictions for after I watch Cars, Wall-e, and Ratatouille.
Wall-e will be placed in 7 and Finding Nemo will be moved to 8. Cars will be 9 and Ratatouille will be last.
My rankings (please note that there is only an infinitesimally small difference between each one). I love them all very very very much.
Alas - Finding Nemo was breath-taking visually, but the story didn’t appeal to much as much as the others.
Lol, this list is like the exact opposite to that of the very first post XD
