Your Pixar Movies Classification

Good point. I think the Diney Renaissance started to go downhill after Lion King since people felt as if they were repeating themselves with every film they made. Which then led them years later to the bottom of the barrel behind Pixar, Dreamworks, and Blue Sky who were newcomers at the time.

When did Blue Sky started to make animated films? I think Dreamworks was late 90s.

I really feel like Pixar’s films are a lot deeper than Disney’s. I don’t know if that makes them better, but Pixar seems like the greatest studio on on Earth to me. Am I just that biased? 8D

Biased or not, a lot of experts think it’s one of the best studios on Earth.

So at leas you bias is bassed on fact

I’ve just sort of always diefied Pixar, and I think all their movies are great(except the Cars, but I still love them anyway :smiling_imp: ) so I’m sort of incapable of holding other studios up to them, even though I love others, like Disney and Ghibli.

Around 2002 with Ice Age.

Yes, I’m pretty sure that was their first. DreamWorks started with [i]Antz/i in 1998.

Yep. I still think Blue Sky is kind of a young up and coming studio.

Anyway, I wonder where Brave will crack in on my list at.

I really feel like Brave will be in my top 4.

They actually started with traditional animation before that.

Ah, my bad. My mind always runs to Antz. 8D

I see it kind of cracking in my top 5. It doesn’t really look like an average film to me at all. Could be good or terrible.

I ask what you guys think it will be for you before. I said I see Brave being 5 or so. Maybe 4 or 3.

I can’t judge where Brave will be until I’ve seen it, I’m really not sure.

I agree, you never know. I just get a good feeling right now.

I get the good feeling part.

At the moment, I can see Brave in the middle of my list, possibly higher. The story really sounds like something I’d want to see.

I don’t know about Brave since I haven’t seen the final product yet. Not going by AICN’s review since it was just a work-in-progress copy and not the final copy. Besides, I don’t really trust that site.

Actually, Incredigirl, Antz was Dreamworks Animation’s first film. It was released a few months before The Prince Of Egypt.

He’s right. It was released about two months before The Prince of Egypt came out back in December '98.
