Anyone can cook... Right?!

True A113. Personally, I never cook over an open fire unless there is an adult with me.

This is going off topic a little, but one time my pawpaw made a fire and it was so hot, when you went up to stick a marshmellow in it, it burnt my face. :open_mouth: I looked sun-burnt.

Ouch! What I do, like let’s say hot dogs or marshmellows, I let it close with little or no contact with the fire. After roasting it, I let it cool, then enjoy!

I wasn’t even that close! He made it REALLY hot… Iono how, but he did.

Well, next time, maybe give it time to cool huh?

Sometimes, it involves letting things cool off, but one time, it should have been giving it time to warm up. Ice cream. Hungry. Metal spoon. Ouch.

A113: Oh my gosh dude, what happened?

O__O YEah! What happened??? Did you get your tongue stuck to the spoon? xD (no I’m serious. It happened to me once. )

That has happened to me beofre. I was scooping some Ice cream. I liked the spoon, then it got stuck! It wasn’t bad. I easily pulled it off, but it was cool.

Ouch! That must have hurt!

No, it was just REALLY cold! :shake:

I made cookies again. They were really baked to perfection. But the only thing better thing to go with cookies than milk is hot chocalate. NOw that is heaven.

^ LOL! Yeah, it hurt perdy bad. Some dummy turned the thermostat up on our fridge… :unamused:

I wonder where NikChik11 went. Where are you, Nikki? :frowning:

I don’t know how to cook currently, and our family is living on artificial food right now, so that’s pretty disgusting, so I decided to attempt to teach myself how to cook. I decided to try baking brownies last night. Well, I accidentally poured nearly the entire package of cocoa into the batter, but didn’t notice it until I was putting everything away. I was like, “Why is there no more cocoa in this box?” Then I realized that I probably put the whole thing in the mix. Well, I started worrying and waiting.
When the brownies were done, I had to let them cool until I could cut them, so when I thought they were cool, I cut into them with a pizza cutter (great for cutting, but not if the brownies are still gooey), and the brownies mostly stuck to the pizza cutter, showing that they weren’t actually done. So I ended up waiting another half-hour, and finally got to taste them, and boy were they BITTER! :~o

But K9Girl seems to be okay with them, so she’ll probably finish them…someday. :unamused:

Who here likes lumpia? Tell me what you think of this dish?

I personally think it’s absolutely disgusting.

You didn’t…

I absolutely love lumpia. Come to think of it, every person at my school loves lumpia. I can’t name one person who does it. I also have to say my grandma and girlfriend make the best lumpia.

What on earth are lumpia?

Lumpia is a Filipino dish. It is a roll with meat or vegetables inside.

Yours must have been good, TSS. Mine were all soggy and wet and…disgusting. :~o

I never cook it. BUt my grandparents do. My girlfriend does too. THey make the best.
