Yeah, I like making spaghetti, too. It’s so easy. You can add whatever you want to the sauce too. Like herbs, corn, spices, carrot, mushrooms, tomato, seeds, yeah anything. =)
…dust from the floor when you drop it, like I’ve done. ![]()
Heh heh. I see you observe the 10-second rule in your household, as well. ![]()
I’m afraid I’m also a follower of that rule as well. ![]()
Actually rachel, i learned that when it is food, it is actually 3 seconds instead of ten.
rachel - Haha. Yeah, we are, sorry to say. My mom is the only one with any sense to throw the food away or actually wash it after it hits the floor, depending on what kind of food it is.

I hate cooking… (snigger)
Wow, my parents are like the oppistite of yours Mitch. It touches the floor, it goes away for me. ![]()
Holy man, are you serious? ![]()
Yep, I am serious. I practice the three second rule when they are not looking, but yep, that is my parents for ya when it comes to food.
Wow, that’s awful. You sound like you eat like a dog…your floors are clean usually right?
Yes, you can barely find a food stain on it. ![]()
I made bacon for lunch yesterday. That turned out fairly well… I needed to heat it after the initial time at 30 second intervals. When I picked up the plate, I really burned my fingers. The bacon did taste good though… a nice reward for my suffering. ![]()
Bill - Oh, yeah, I know the pain of burning the fingers…
I mean, I don’t burn myself very often (thank God!), but when it happens…
![]()
I don’t think I can fry bacon in my life. I am too nervous when I am around hot oil and pans. ![]()
TSS - I didn’t fry the bacon. I just put it on a plate underneath a paper towel and covered the top with paper towel also. And then you just heat in the microwave. ![]()
Oh, that is way different than how I see people make beacon.
Since we’re on the topic of cooking gone wrong… what deserts have you tried to pull off ?
Well, I have tried to make ice cram and jello by myself. ![]()
TSS - I take it by the Emoticon you used that it didn’t go to well ?
Can you give us the whole story of that?
I actually made Ice cream when I was in fifth grade. People showed us how to do it, but I tried doing it myself with no help at all. It was great, but it wasn’t frozen enough. So instead of ice cream, it was really ice milk. ![]()
