Anyone can cook... Right?!

lizardgirl - Haha! We’re in the same boat then. :stuck_out_tongue:

The Star Swordsman - Cha, they sure do…ususally. (snigger)

Mitch: However, I love it when mmy marshmellows are more crispy and crunchy.

Microwaves + Marshmallows = Disaster. (In my experience.)

Oh my lord! What happened?

Well, it wasn’t really a disaster , but it was a BIG mess. I was just bored and had extra marshmallows… Somebody I know said they eventually catch on fire, but to the true to that I have no idea.

Hehe, they caught it on fire? That’s crazy… all of mine only turned really, really black. It was pretty discusting… when you took them out, they felt almost plasticy. I don’t even want to think about what one might taste like  :open_mouth:

The only time my marshmellows would turn into fire balls is if I roast them right over a fire.

I do not roast marshmallows because my fear of getting burned by the fire borders on pathological. I get all OMG EMANATING HEAT CANNOT COPE and either use a really really long stick, or get someone else to roast a marshmallow for me.

Yeah. I’m hardcore.

(Actually, I can’t even tolerate holding matches because I freak out when I see that I am holding fire and the only thing separating it from my hand is a tiny sliver of wood and ASGAHSF IT’S BURNING UP THE MATCH AND COMING FOR MY FINGERS)

I remember one day when I was home alone, and I decided to bake cookies (I wanted to do something ‘nice.’)

Well,I flipped through a cookbook and found a recipe, and seeing that my attention span was that of my 10-year-old sister’s back then,I didn’t follow the recipe correctly…and the cookies turned out flat as a newly paved road. And they didn’t taste that good, either…

The volcano called my mom nearly erupted.

My sisters-well,actually,I forget what they were doing. But I think they cared less.

And to this day,I don’t do anything ‘nice’ involving a cookbook.

Annoying, well, you gotta hand it to yourself. You tried. I found it funny when you called your mother a volcano.

I think I’ll make some Linguini Alfredo tomorrow night. Pasta’s my specialty. :sunglasses: I’ve been meaning to make it for a while, and now I finally have the linguini and the alfredo sauce, thanks to a night of shopping at Trader Joe’s! So I’ll probably take pictures, too. For fun.

I’ve realized I have become wiser in the kitchen lately, since my mom works late and I often have to help my brother make something, but he doesn’t do much helping. I’m a mean sister because I send him into the oven to fetch the finished product. :smiling_imp: He often forgets stuff that comes from the oven when it’s on is hot. Don’t feel bad- he’s fourteen, he should know better.

I like cooking because it makes me feel more mature and smart, and I can always use a little of that.

Well, I made myself some Mac n Cheese today. It was kinda cheesy. That was the bad news. The good news was my brother loves cheese. So the more cheese, the better.

I made Linguini Alfredo!

It tasted better than it looks in the picture.

sheila

That looks really yummy!

Ahaha! That’s awesome!

I should try

I haven’t had alfrado in a long time. Makes me want to have it real bad.

Colette Linguini - Haha! That’s cute. I should have known that one of you Linguini fans would eventually get the urge to make some Alfredo that you can actually eat… :stuck_out_tongue:  (snigger)

– Mitch

Yeah, I want me some Linguini as well.

I made some brownies for concessions for my play. The thing was, I never imagined that it would be the first thing that would go.
