Over the last week, I have speent a total of 10 hours driving. It really drains a lot from my tank. Just today, I filled it up this moring and tonight, I am just a little over half full!
Ohhhhh boy. I’m just so sick and tired of school. (i know you’re probably thinking, already?) I mean the whole idea of school. My plan was that I was supposed to be graduated from college by now and have a degree but i’m so behind that I have at least a year and a half left. That’s what I get for wasting 3 1/2 years taking random classes, not knowing what major I wanted.
UGH middle school just keeps getting harder and harder, especially Algebra. Not only do I stink, I just happen to be stuck at a table with two boys who think they are just the smartest thing to walk this Earth, and another who is kinda whiny and is always like “Ten minutes till class time!” and it gets annoying.
I gots OK lessons, but there is one kid in our class who thinks he’s the kign and everything he says is instantly a fact. Just today I was explaining about car registrations and why they use the September to march, march to september etc and he cut in saying that it was january! It was january in the 1960s, but to even car sales out a bit, they made the regs change that way. but NO, he wasn’t having any of it.
We’ve been doing super-easy stuff in maths today.
Rac_Rules: Sorry about your algebra experience right now. I’ll tell you if you don’t understand anything and want any help at all, the folks at PP will be more than happy to help.
Phew, I survived the first week. It’s not easy to get used to wake up at 6AM. And yesterday we wrote our very first test, in English. We got the test back today and I got a B, with 26 points of 30. But I wasn’t happy when our teacher told us we needed 27 points for the A^^
I don’t start until Sept. 11. =D
Started back in Sixth Form today. It was mainly an organisation type day, rearranging our timetables and that sort of thing, but I’ve finally decided on the subjects I’m taking this year-
Psychology, Latin, English Lit and Maths.
I haven’t done English for a year, so it’s a bit weird to be back in an English classroom, especially since our topic for the year is the first world war- something I’m not even vaguely interested in.
I was nervous before going back, but when you’re back, you do settle in quickly. The only annoying thing this time round is that we’ve got the most irritating year below us moving in, full of bimbos and idiots. Gah.
We’ve done the organization; homework starts on monday.
Tay, you just make me jealous right now. It is like you get an extended summer while everyone esle suffers the restriction of freedom due to school.
I’m homeschooled. All of our times are different.
Here in Canada, students go back to school in September [usually sometime in the first wee] and get out for summer break at the end of June. ^^
Hmm, I see. For me, my high school started in august. It ended the second week of June.
Second that !
We’re reading fahrenheit 451 in english.
How do you like it so far WALL-E?
I’ve read half of it before, so I know what it’s about, but I never got round to finosh it, and yes I like it.
Cool. You and my other friends have similar views about the book.
Its bears a similarity to 1984.
Well, I survived my second week of college. So far, the experience isn’t as relaxing as I thught it was, going back and forth, beating traffic every day. But still, the freedom I get is pretty sweet. I wish I had a better schedule.
Where are you going…
