Bee Movie

Not even an adequate story. The story must and always dominate over the actor.

So the bigger the actor, I think the harder the story.

Interesting theory. Heh – “the bigger the actor, the harder the story”. I

like that.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it “hard” or diffcult to manufacture a story or model

it over its actors, although it may be tempting to just “go with the flow” and let the actors handle

all the rough corners. You see, this is why I like Pixar so much. They rely on their actors, yes, but their main

drive for any of their movies is story. It doesn’t

matter how famous or how good a voice actor is; it means nothing if the plot-line is garbage.

Completely agree.
I really

actually don’t like movies with big name stars in them. To me, it distracts from the story and the overall

message of the film. The Incredibles is a great example. Great action movie. No huge

stars. exactly what I like.

Bee Movie, in my opinion, will have a hard time

keeping its story together with Seinfield in it.

Gasduude - Thanks for agreeing with me, dude.

On the other

hand…

Just because a film has big name stars in it doesn’t mean that the film will disintegrate or

rupture in some way. It’s how the story is manufactured that matters. Hey, Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter are

pretty well-known in the business, and their performance in The Incredibles only

made things go even smoother in the film. And Ian Holm, who will star as Skinner in

Ratatouille, is quite famous in the movie industry; but I don’t think that will

deter Pixar from creating a great story around the actors.

Besides bees, anyone want to take a guess at what other insects will be in this movie? I mean,

it just can’t be about bees right?

Very True
Tom hanks and Tim Allen are also very well

known.

Star Swordsman: When you asked that I immediately thought of talking

flowers. A bug’s Life the queen had an aphid, right?
Why couldn’t flowers

coexist with bees?

This is kind of stupid what i’m saying, isn’t it?

Oh no, not at all. But I imagine the flowers as their

workplace. After all, they do get their honey from the flowers. I would imagine there would be spiders in

there.

Does anyone know if there will be a new

trailer? Thanks.

I’ve found a new trailer. Check this

out:

www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/beemov … large.html

It includes a cameo by a

certain director…

Yeah, I think that’s Steven Spielberg…

Makes sense, the S in Dreamworks SKG

stands for Spielberg.

Haha – yeah, I saw that trailer some time ago. I was just happy to see one of my

favorite directors on the stage, although I have to admit that the trailer itself was kinda funny…

Thanks for the link, Bill!

I just saw the

second teaser trailer. It looks really funny and intresting. I love how everything was an act to set it all up

for the real animation.

Yeah, the animation looks cool and amazing, so I want to see this.

Bill - Yeah, I agree. It seems as if there made out of that twistable rubber

stuff…

You know what i mean?

Not really.

You need to be more specific.

Uh, there kinda flexible…they can take different poses

and hold them, Err, some stick on refrigiators…

Nevermind, there kinda hard to come by!

MovieFone has the first full lenght trailer for the Bee Movie.

I just saw the trailer. It looks like a funny, desent movie. I might want to see it after I read a review from someone.

Strange, I can’t veiw the trailer

I generally trust what Jonathon Ross says, and he said

that the most amazing thing about this film is that it was ever made…But hey, he might be wrong. I probably

won’t go to the cinema to see it, but I’ll catch it on TV.
