Mood: Tickedoff at my sister

Oh the roads outside is TERRIBLE! We were so close to home, but my demon kept asking for Stake N Shake. My mom was annoyed, so she went, the roads were awful and it took mom 45 minutes to get there. I was scared as heck. We got the food but it was hard to get out and slippery and I started crying because I was terrified. My sister started laughing and mom said “YOU SHUT UP! I AM NEVER LISTING TO YOU AGAIN YOU SELFISH BRAT!” It took us another 45 minutes to get home. "Emily said “See? I told you we’d get home safely” And mom said sarcastically “And it only took us 1 and 45 minutes!” “When it’s supposed to take 15” I added. I don’t even want to look at her. I want to kill her in the most painful way to kill a person. That’s how mad I am. Well, on the bright side, at least we were able to get Stake N Sake,

Ugh, I go from being super happy to super awful!!

I came home from Bible school tonight to learn that my computer died! Like, it’s not even turning on. NOT cool, if you ask me, cuz I went through almost the exact same thing around this time last year! (Except last time I had BSODs and that is not awesome AT ALL.) I feel bad for my sister cuz she was all freaked out about it and didn’t know what to do, and she thought I’d be mad at her. :frowning: I wasn’t, I mean I was upset, cuz I don’t really know what’s wrong with it… but I’m calling a computer guy tomorrow morning and I’ll see what we can do about it.

It better not be my hard drive… the last time this happened I thought I lost everything when it was only a few bad wires. All the wires are intact, the hard drive is intact as far as I know, so it’s probably a bad tower or bad power supply. Either way I’m praying VERY hard for my precious hard drive… I can’t stand to lose anything on it.

little chef

Boy, we are all feeling horrible today.

Mood: a feeling of disgust

Reason: On another site some newbie is one of these typical fangirls shudders at thought I have nothing against fangirls unless they allow their little “fantasies” to leave the confines of their mind and according to this person’s DA page, she does just that…ugh, makes me sick just thinking about it… :frowning:

little_chef: BSODs? Googles it :open_mouth: Oh, god! That’s must’ve been really terrible! I hope that it your computer is down, at least, let it be involving a bad tower or power supply, not your hard drive. It’s happened to me a few times, too. I’ve lost the hard drive, too, and, boy, it wasn’t great of an experience at all. (Actually, I don’t really remember, because it happened a while ago, but it was terrible, either way) After trying a few things with my dad, we finally managed to recover the files. Hopefully, it’ll turn out good in the end, and, all of your files won’t be lost.

Current Mood: Annoyed (judging by everybody else here, I guess it’s a common thing happening  )

It’s the usual stuff. Homework, up to my nose. Does anybody know when this is going to end? Nobody knows. (OK, enough rhyming now! :stuck_out_tongue:) Anyways, I’ve so many darn projects, a few of them overdue  and it’s hard to finish most of these assignments in the alloted amount of time we have to work on them. This really sucks. :frowning: On the other hand, it’s gonna be like this until the exams for this semester are over, so I guess it’s time for me to buckle down and get this over with!

That stinks little_chef!

Mood: happy
I have a two hour delay!! Which makes me really happy

Mood~ sad

Why~ This is my note to everyone. Due to a sudden twist in school, I will not be able to come on here for the next 8-9 weeks at least. Bye folks, and I’ll see ya’ll later! I’ll miss ya!!! <3 :`-(

Even though you might not recieve this, but I’ll miss ya a whole lot, Sally J! :frowning:

Mood: Bored

Reason: Not doing much. Should be doing something. That way, I won’t be bored! lol

Mood: Slight sadness mixed with disgust

Reason: sighs Today at work, I discovered that one of my fellow employees was fired…now while I am surprised that she wasn’t fired sooner (she’s not a very good worker unfortunately), the reason that she was fired was actually quite dumb, she was fired because sales during her shift wasn’t as high as mine… no offense to my manager but she works mostly mornings, very few people shop in the morning since they have to go to work so of course during my shift I would have more sales, so now we are short handed even more…that’s the sadness, now time for the disgust, that little poisonous thorn seems to have all the time in the world to draw up little doodles of her and her fictional lover if you will and also has drawn herself looking emo… laughs uncontrollablly oh please, as if she would ever be emo? She seems too perky and happy all the time to even come close to emo…which unfortunately would mean that she is posing and giving those of us (including me) who dress in the style a bad name, a sickening thought indeed…

Mood: Headachey

Reason: I’m not drinking as much water as I did in FL, and my cold is making it hard to drink water. :stuck_out_tongue:

Peeved.

Well, the people that I was going to study for my APUSH exam with, dropped on me. So, now I have to do this long-butt review by myself. Argargedda. I’m hoping I can atleast get it nearly done, and then finish it up before Thursday. I’ve got to pass the exam or I fail the semester x.x

Mood: Slight relief

Reason: That little poisnonous thorn appearantly does have a life outside of the internet, honestly thought for a minute that her obsessive fangirl ways was actually part of her job…

The Star Swordsman- Thanks so much, TSS  ! Let me just say, you’ve been a great friend over the past year. In fact, you’re one of my closest friends. Thank you for being such a kind, respectful, and gentle friend  ! I really appreciate it. You’ve helped make this year a great one! And I hope for many more to come!

As for how Watchmen was, it was really good  ! Although, it had some very adult content (and might I mind you, I didn’t know the severity of that before I bought it). But other than that, it was a great movie. It was about these vigilante heroes, showing how they were going through the times and how they changed. And they start getting picked off, one-by-one, until there are only a few left. But no one knows who’s doing it. But it’s kinda hard to fallow, so it might take a couple viewings to get it. Over-all, it was a great plot, and, if you don’t mind the mature content, it’s a great movie.

To be honest, though, I liked UV better. (But that’s mostly because UV doesn’t have barely any adult content in it, and throughout the whole movie, I don’t remember hearing one curse word.) But that’s just my opinion. I figured you liked the sword fights, though  .

mo- Thanks, mo  ! I really appreciate it! Hey, now that you say that, yeah! We did join on the same day! Thanks for shining the light on that for me!

In that case, Happy One Year Pixar Planet Anniversary, Little Chef  ! And thanks for being such a great friend! Raises imaginary glass. To many more great years on PP  !

lizardgirl- Thanks so much  ! And, yeah, it was a great movie  .

Mitch- Hey! Welcome back  ! It’s great to see your face-- I mean, avatar again   .

Mood: bored, yet entertained

Reason: I’m just sitting here on my computer, typing, and surfing the net and such.

RELIEVED.

Reason - Just got an email from my uncle saying there was absolutely nothing wrong with my precious computer… apparently, I was just too chicken to turn it back on and see if everything was all right.

I’ll probably be getting it back from him sometime tomorrow… and I’ll be spending a good part of the day doing SERIOUS backups. xDD

little chef

That happened one time at where I worked where we thought that the computer wasn’t working, turned out that the CPU was accidently turned off…yeah, it happens…

Mood: Excited

Reason: As of yesturday night, I am now the proud owner of an original MI Randall Boggs toy from the movie’s original merchandise line back when the movie was out in theaters…I don’t know when I will recieve my prize (won it in a bid) but it will be coming within the week and all I had to pay was…$5.24 plus $8.00 shipping and handling coming out to $13.24 all together…that’s way cheaper than the sellers who are trying to sell the same figure for nearly seventy dollars…

Haha, it seems everyone has gone through a computer crisis of their own!

BDD: Well, I read your review on TPATF, and I’m glad you enjoyed it. Your comments on the state of Disney Channel and its affiliates was equally illuminating.

little_chef: Well, you could try download all the soundtracks from Pixar movies if you haven’t already got 'em. Some of my favourite scores to get in the mood are:
The Metal Gear Solid series - If I’m writing any fast-paced action scenes. Puts you in a ‘heroic’ mood with those beautiful french horns. Listen to either the MGS2 or MGS3 theme.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron - Similarly, although more of the ‘grand adventure’ type. I recommend the track ‘Run Free’.
Pirates of the Caribbean Treasures Suite - A good summary of all the themes from the trilogy. ‘Marry Me’ is one of my favourite love themes of any soundtrack.
Gladiator - ‘Now We Are Free’ is just sheer poetry.
Oh, and congrats on getting your comp back in one piece. Remember to backup!

lizardgirl: Good luck with the exams!

Violet Parr: I’ve heard Brad Bird was told by someone while making The Incredibles that it sounded very similar to Watchmen, and he didn’t want to watch it for fear of being influenced! Which was great since he made TI in his own way without being affected by Watchmen’s plot. Anyway, haven’t seen Watchmen, but I have seen Ultraviolet, and it’s fun at the beginning, but began to suck towards the end… so yeah…

Sally Johnson: Sad to lose a Cars fan on this boards. Good luck, and you’re welcome back anytime soon!

thewisecookiesheet: Good luck with the exams!

MOOD : SUPER HAPPY

Why? I got to watch Avatar in 3-D one week ago, and I’m planning to watch it again in Digital 2-D today before its theatrical run ends.
I’m also a fifth away from finishing my next silly mash-up (feat. The Princess and the Frog, no less!), and I had a couple of great inspirations for my next few vids while trying to sleep yesterday.
Also, I’m going out to borrow the next few volumes of the Bones comic series by Jeff Smith after returning some CDs and novels due soon, so I could read as much of the saga in one shot! Oh, and I finished Dragon Outcast, the second book I’ve read in The Age of Fire series, and it was pretty good.
Fourthly, it turned out there was nothing wrong with my external hard disk, and it was just that its power cable had failed, so I cannibalized another power unit with the same port to power it up now. I’m so grateful, thank the Great Motherboard and the Deities of Technology!
Finally, my dad convinced my mum to buy a PSP last Thursday, after I mentioned it would be nice to be able to ad-hoc multiplay with my bro who already owns one. You have no idea how frustrating it is to have to tell him to download the games I want and only getting to play his unit when he’s not using it, so finally I can play the racing and Pixar games I want on my own machine. I’ve been wanting one for the past two years, man, so it’s really been a long time coming. I’m sooo happy.

Mood: Bummed out.

Reason: My family went to watch Avatar in 3D, and I stayed behind because I get sick everytime I watch 3D movies.

Mood: pretty good

Reason: had a good day. Didn’t have much homework. Got back from my dad’s today, so it’s always nice to be home. I bought some stuff on iTunes, and I’m really liking what I bought, except I was going to buy an episode of Family Guy (the one where Stewie and Bryan travel multi-verses) and I accidentally hit the “buy now” button twice, so I paid for it twice and had to delete one. So I pretty much wasted $3. Other than that, not much happening. I took a test on Facebook that told me the day I’m going to die (July 7, 2073 at 2:56 P.M., during a thunderstorm, I’m going to die from a falling tree branch in Paris apparently  ). The only thing really missing from my day is my Eva, we haven’t really talked in a while and I hope we can soon. I really miss talking to her…

I’m going to miss your presence on the boards, Sally Jonson, and I look forward to your return!

Good luck with your exam, thewisecookiesheet. How annoying when people let you down! Sounds like a lot of pressure, but sometimes that motivates you to do your best, I find.

Haha, thank goodness for that, little_chef!

Thanks, thedriveintheatre! It went okay I think, but it’s difficult to tell with biology exams. I was writing a lot of stuff, but I’m not sure if any of it was right.

Mood: Restless

Reason: I just want to be at university now. I should be, really, but it was my choice to stay another year and do more qualifications to get into better universities. Unfortunately, it means that I’m still waiting to ‘leave the nest’, and I’m absolutely desperate to be living in halls with my fellow students, studying my favourite subject, attending lectures, going to the pub in the evening…Argh, I went to be there now! But I have to wait until this September to live my dream, darn it.

They announced the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack listing  so far, looks amazing!
