Disney Sequels

I don’t think there’s a thread for the bad ones. I’d be there all day.

8D Yeah that’s fine, both kinds can pretty much go in this thread. Naturally, I think talking about the few good ones will remind us about the many bad ones. I don’t think anyone has acknowledged just the good ones here because I don’t think there are too many of them.

No. Other than the obvious fantasia 2000, Three Caballeros and Rescuers Down Under it’s hard to think of them.

Do you like Winnie the Pooh? I know it’s more like a reboot but I think it still is sort of in the same category.

There’s The Tigger Movie, which is so sweet (If only we could replace Chicken Little with this one in the Disney canon!). And some are fine like Kronk’s New Groove although not as good as the first one. There’s a few others I like okay but I wouldn’t call them really good either.

I love all the Winnie the Pooh spin-offs/sequels. And Kronk’s New Groove is okay.

I think that this should be our thread for all sequels. No point in having multiple sequel threads, I think. If you guys agree I could change the title.

The Tigger Movie was a film I grew up on. I saw it a while ago, and it was charming and cute, but not a terrific film. But it’s very good as far as sequels go.

I’ll admit Tigger movie is the only sequel that moves me at all. Especially the end, and the credits. But I agree doubling this thread for good and bad sequels is for the best. Everyone picks least favorites here anyway it seems. 8D

True. If you think that’s fine, I think this could become the Disney Sequels Discussion thread, E-J-E. If I might add, in case the Wreck-It Ralph sequel really happens, perhaps the Traditionally Animated part can be left out of the title? I just remembered about that.

That’s a good idea! And even though it’s a mini-sequel at most, we could discuss Tangled Ever After.

Alright, Disney Sequels should about cover it.

Fabulous!

So what would you rather see a sequel to? if you HAD to choose

Wreck-it Ralph?
Tangled?
The Princess and the Frog?

Probably Ralph since there is so much more you could do with those characters.

Wreck-It Ralph is most suited. But, assuming it is a good strong sequel, I would like to see one for Tangled the most.

Oh cool, the change!

So about “Tangled Ever After”. Very cute, fun short film. It’s the main reason I bought Cinderella on Blu-Ray, and I did not get to see it in theaters :frowning: . I think it was also pretty fitting for Beauty and the Beast. And it really kept the comical tone from the movie at the heart of this. I also like “Super Rhino”, and I know there’s less of a point to it and maybe it’s a bit childish, but Rhino’s probably my favorite character from that movie anyway. It also goes to show what an imagination he has and how big a fan he is of Bolt.

And I do want to see a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph the most hands down. It looks like today’s Toy Story. I basically love it as much as that movie. Ever since I saw the promotional stuff, I thought this could potentially spawn up a second movie. And if it still happens, I will see it the first day in theaters unlike how I did with the first one.

I’m fine with Tangled Ever After being all to continue Tangled. I suppose a sequel could be interesting, but maybe a special or something would be better. Possibly for The Princess and the Frog could be nice, too.

I have not seen Super Rhino!

It’s the one bonus feature on the Bolt DVD in case you don’t have it. I think Tangled Ever After is better, but it’s still fun for Rhino fan-boys and girls. Only about 3 or 4 minutes, too.

Sadly I do not have Bolt. I saw it on TV. I keep meaning to get it. I want to have all the Disney movies.

It’s on YouTube if you wanna watch now!

EDIT: I took out the link. I just realized maybe I shouldn’t have posted a link and instead just said where to find it. Maybe not, but i just wanted to be safe instead of sorry.

Pretty cute! Thanks for the link. 8D He sleeps in his ball. I know she didn’t talk much, but the one thing that bothered me was the one thing about the movie too: Penny’s voice. God I detest Miley Cyrus. :unamused:
