Least Favorite Disney Villains

I totally agree. He’s not exactly even an active character throughout most of the film, but the voice of Keith David and the animation of Bruce Smith make the most of it. Fun Fact: Smith based the design of Facilier on a combination of Cruella DeVil and Captain Hook.

He is pretty awesome.

Does this count? Because I don’t like this villain.

Wow, David. 8D

What? You know it’s true.

I’m afraid I do.

I see Jackson as the hero of the series.

I always loved him. It was odd to discover he was in his 30’s at the time.

Yeah. When the show started I thought he was in his early 20s or so.

I wouldn’t say they’re villans, but i really dislike :imp: the siamese cats in Lady and the Tramp.

^ I hated them when I was younger! I would always fast forward the VHS during their song.

I don’t like villains that are all serious and not funny at all. I like the ones that are funny, sarcastic, and insult their henchmen for being stupid.

Of course that doesn’t work in every type of film.

Yeah, it depends on the situation.

I really never cared for Pete. He is funny sometimes. But he’s not really a villain.

Whether or not the villain is serious and evil really depends on the film.
I really can’t see Sleeping Beauty work if Maleficent had the personality of Hades or Yzma, but at the same time, Hercules and The Emperor’s New Groove would be boring if the villains were stone-cold evil.

My absolute least favourite Disney villain would have to be Commander Rourke from Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Mainly because it could be seen from a mile away that he was the bad guy, although it seemed like the film was trying to make is seem like a surprise.

On the other hand though, I have way too many favourite villains to list. Scar from The Lion King would definitely be at the top of it, though.

I totally didn’t see it coming! And while I’m getting tired of Pixar constantly pulling the ‘surprise villain’ card, it’s genuinely a surprise when they do it. But it’s hard for me to be too hard on Rourke, as he was animated by Mike Surrey (my absolute favorite Disney animator).

I can’t recall if I saw that coming or not, as I’ve been watching that movie for so long. 8D

I saw it coming.

I think most of that film is quite predictable, but I like it more than most people.

And, well, Avatar is virtually identical to Atlantis (and other 1000 things), and it still gets praise.

This is the truth. To me, personally, predictable does not mean bad. Really. I think from the beginning of the Little Mermaid, Lion King, or even Aladdin, 90% of people would have a solid guess of the outcome.
