Ha! Yeah, OMB
was better than Cars (story-wise), IMO.
The Star Swordsman ā Is that just 'cuz itās attached to The
Incredibles? Or do you seriously like it?

heheh - BUSTED!!! >D
Yeah, I think it was
because they actually spoke. All of the other Shorts donāt have voices (Minus Geriās laughing etc). Thereās
just something about the ānon-speakingā that makes them great.
I thought Boundinā was cute, but itās not a fave of mine. I agree with
Jesus Freak- itās the speaking that does it. That, and they talk in rhymes and
sing-songy and it sort of annoyed me, even though Iām a musical person.
Anyways, back on topic, I think
Lifted had to be the one Pixar short that made me laugh the hardest. xD I hope to make a short like that one day!
xD
Off-Topic: Hey yeah, youāre right, JesusFreak ā it
is the voices! Heh ā no wonder Iām not that crazy about it. Well, that, and Bud
Luckyās voice scares meā¦ (No offense to Mr. Lucky! I still think heās a wonderful actor nonetheless.)

Ha ha, very
funny Dash. No, actually, I really loved the short. Heck, it is on my Ipod. I love it because of the music and
the setting was just beautiful. I like it even more because it was the short before TI, but even if it wasnāt, i
would love it the same.

He sounds more like a cowboy than a narrator.
JesusFreak - Haha. A cowbow, huh? He reminds me of an FBI agent, for some reason.
But back on-topicā¦
I
think Mr. Luckeyās voice reminds me of a NSA govt. agent, playing a banjo on his porch one night.
Okay, iām done. back with lifted.
or maybe a country singerā¦?
Did you guys find any sort of Pixar references in
Lifted?
Well, only that [spoil]one of the characters looks a LOT like
Linguini.[/spoil]
Ah thanks JF. But theere is nothing else in that
short? Okay then. . .
Did you guys find any sort of Pixar references
in Lifted?
Well, JesusFreak mentioned the obvious one, but
I also found this:
[spoil]A little birdhouse is situated underneath the windmill that is next
to the farmerās house. Perhaps this is a nod to For the
Birds?[/spoil]
I could be overspeculating here, but thatās me!
That could be a possibility. Iāll look for it.

Yeah, and the kid was sleeping in a bed! Wasnāt there
a bed in Monsters Inc.??? CONNECTION!!!
Just kiddingā¦I
love being sarcastic.
JesusFreak -
Puh-HA!!! Oh man, that made me laugh so hard.
Well thatās a relief! I thought that it came across way to harsh.
JV ā Best one, huh?
Hereās a question: was the āboyā in the short Linguini?
Now we have the official confirmation:
Thanks Kaszubas! I knew it had to be Linguini (Prototype or not).
