Lifted

Ha! Yeah, OMB

was better than Cars (story-wise), IMO.

The Star Swordsman ā€“ Is that just 'cuz itā€™s attached to The

Incredibles? Or do you seriously like it?

heheh - BUSTED!!! >D

Yeah, I think it was

because they actually spoke. All of the other Shorts donā€™t have voices (Minus Geriā€™s laughing etc). Thereā€™s

just something about the ā€œnon-speakingā€ that makes them great.

I thought Boundinā€™ was cute, but itā€™s not a fave of mine. I agree with

Jesus Freak- itā€™s the speaking that does it. That, and they talk in rhymes and

sing-songy and it sort of annoyed me, even though Iā€™m a musical person.

Anyways, back on topic, I think

Lifted had to be the one Pixar short that made me laugh the hardest. xD I hope to make a short like that one day!

xD

Off-Topic: Hey yeah, youā€™re right, JesusFreak ā€“ it

is the voices! Heh ā€“ no wonder Iā€™m not that crazy about it. Well, that, and Bud

Luckyā€™s voice scares meā€¦ (No offense to Mr. Lucky! I still think heā€™s a wonderful actor nonetheless.)

Ha ha, very

funny Dash. No, actually, I really loved the short. Heck, it is on my Ipod. I love it because of the music and

the setting was just beautiful. I like it even more because it was the short before TI, but even if it wasnā€™t, i

would love it the same.

Back on topic now,

He sounds more like a cowboy than a narrator.

:stuck_out_tongue:

JesusFreak - Haha. A cowbow, huh? He reminds me of an FBI agent, for some reason.

:stuck_out_tongue:

But back on-topicā€¦

I

think Mr. Luckeyā€™s voice reminds me of a NSA govt. agent, playing a banjo on his porch one night.

Okay, iā€™m done. back with lifted.

or maybe a country singerā€¦?

Did you guys find any sort of Pixar references in

Lifted?

Well, only that [spoil]one of the characters looks a LOT like

Linguini.[/spoil]

Ah thanks JF. :stuck_out_tongue: But theere is nothing else in that

short? Okay then. . .

Well, JesusFreak mentioned the obvious one, but

I also found this:

[spoil]A little birdhouse is situated underneath the windmill that is next

to the farmerā€™s house. Perhaps this is a nod to For the

Birds?[/spoil]

I could be overspeculating here, but thatā€™s me! :stuck_out_tongue:

That could be a possibility. Iā€™ll look for it.

Yeah, and the kid was sleeping in a bed! Wasnā€™t there

a bed in Monsters Inc.??? :open_mouth: CONNECTION!!!

Just kiddingā€¦I

love being sarcastic.

JesusFreak -

Puh-HA!!! Oh man, that made me laugh so hard.

Well thatā€™s a relief! I thought that it came across way to harsh. :stuck_out_tongue:

Now we have the official confirmation:

scifi.com/scifiwire/index.ph ā€¦ 0&id=42150

Thanks Kaszubas! I knew it had to be Linguini (Prototype or not).
