Most overrated films of all time

The Passion of the Christ was overrated. Being a christian I watched it. I never saw the point. It shows all the torture that Jesus passed through which is hard to sit through. That makes it hard to see whatever message that film is trying to convey.

I don’t think it was that hard to watch, but I agree, it was totally pointless.

I don’t htink Oz is overrated. But it’s definetely one of the most enjoyable movies of all time.

Justin Bieber’s “My World” documentary.

I’m going to get some thumbs up for this!

Never heard of it. I heard of “Never say Never”.

Same here. But it must be a similar one.

i think “never say never” is what i meant. Get confused between the two.

I agree 100% with that.

Thank you Rach&Animationfan!

No Problem TSS. 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and Roger Ebert listing it under his great movie lists backs that up  .

Which is why I think it’s overrated.

While it’s a great movie, it has its flaws. So how can it be 100% fresh material?

Hahaha, Mel Gibson. I never saw it, but I want to.

The South Park episode about The Passion is a riot. Stan and Kenny see it, are unimpressed, and call it a snuff film. They go to Gibson’s mansion to demand their money back, with crazy results.

The moral of the episode is that Christians should follow the teaching of Christ, instead of focusing on his death and bringing hatred toward the Jews.

I remeber that episode poor Stan only wanted his $15 back lol. That is what I like about South Park it is funny and out there, but its deep.

I forgot, did Kenny pay for his ticket.

Haha yeah! He spent like $80 on transportation to California, but he said it was ‘the principle of the thing that matters’

And same here, I love South Park. People don’t realize how philosophical it is.

I think so, because he went along with Stan to get his money back.

He’s poor so Stan may of. But he does own a PSP and other costly things.

Without a doubt, Shrek 2. Those jokes in the film are outdated and have been done about 100 times already. It’s really another one of those DW’s films that doesn’t tell much of a good story and just relies on pop-culture jokes. Just don’t understand why everyone loves this film so much.

I don’t see the fuss about Madagascar. I thought it and it’s sequel was rubbish, to be candid. Yet people make it out to be one of the better DW films. I also agree on what Ballboi said about Shrek 2.

On the contrary, I think the Madagascar ones are among DW worsts, specially on the technical level.

I just hope that DW’s doesn’t turn Madagascar into the next Shrek with all these sequels and spinoffs. Hopefully for Madagascar 3 they’ll end of the series. Something I don’t understand with them are the stupid names for their sequels like “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” or “Shrek the Third.”
