Movies - both new and old

I’ve never heard of it; what about it do you hate?

imdb.com/title/tt1486185/

I mean, it’s by the director of Twilight, if that carries any weight. It was part creepy, part romantic sappy garbage. I’m sorry if I sounded dramatic, I just can’t stand such movies. 8D

I managed to stumble upon my old Toy Story VHS tape along with a couple Disney classics when I was cleaning up my room earlier. I decided to watch it since I haven’t seen the first one in such a long time. I must say, Toy Story has to be my favorite Pixar movie. It actually looked pretty good for being the first CGI movie. VHS tapes aren’t in the best of qualities anymore like the modern day DVD’s are. Thank goodness for DVD players being invented! Lol. Anyway, Toy Story gets an A+.

I also watched The Green Hornet the other day. It just wasn’t all that good to me. I mean Seth Rogen isn’t one of my favorite sctors, but this is just one of his worst movies. I would much rather watch him then Vince Vaughn per say. Kato was probably the highlight of the movie for me since he was pretty funny. Some of the 3D was actually pretty bad from what I herd. I give The Green Hornet a D.

Ugh, it sounds AWFUL! :open_mouth: I hate those kinds of movies, too…immediately turned off. 8D

Haha. I think most of we Pixar fans dislike those movies. 8D

Rabbit Hole- I thought it was good, but it wasn’t as sad as I thought it was going to be because they didn’t show the couples life with their child at the beginning of the movie. So I didn’t feel much while they were through there problems except when Howie got into it with Becca because he acussed her of trying to erase all memories of their child from their home.

Back to the Future- It’s been to long since the last time I watch this movie. I had forgetten how awesome it is. It’s now one of my all time favorite. Crispin Glover was the highlight of the movie for me. I wish there was a soundtrack with just the film score.

But there is a soundtrack with just the score! I own it!

Back to the Future is one of my favorites! I saw it for the first time just a couple months ago, if you can believe it.

I like it as well. Christopher Lloyd is so nutty. 8D

“GREAT SCOTT!”

I’m a Pixar fan and I like Twilight!

NOT.

WHAT!!! I went to amazon.com and iTunes and all I saw was the sountrack with the pop songs on it.

You’re on fire today, miss 8D

Yes, there’s that one, but there’s also a disc with the Alan Silvestri score. I own all three scores from all three movies, as I’m not interested in the pop songs.

Maybe they’re not selling them anymore.

I can send you the .flac files if you want. I had a lot of trouble finding the score as well.

Could you, please?! Wait…what’s a .flac file? Is it something I’ll be able to put in my iPod?

A lose-less audio file. Unless you prefer them in mp3.

I guess I would prefer the mp3. I just thought about something. If this doesn’t work out, I’ll go to Amoeba Music. I’ve always been able to find cd’s there that are hard to find. You would think that with them releasing the trilogy on Blu-ray recently, they would release the album again. I was happy to see that I could purchase a Delorenn toy for a great price! I thought that the only way to get one was to pay some ridiculous price on Ebay. Mine should be on my doorstep this coming Wednesday.

.flacs don’t work on iPods, and unfortunately I only have the .mp3s for the second and third movies  I’ll try to find an MP3 version and PM you.

EDIT: Found a download link and PMed it to you

I have the MP3 from the first, but I don’t know how to pass them to you.

You may PM and we can figure it out.

I’ve been watching a ton of movies ever since I dumped cable and got Netflix. Best decision ever made. The only thing is it doesn’t have enough good Disney or Pixar movies available to watch.

I highly recommend Nanny McPhee Returns, it’s not THE best but it’s got a decent storyline and the characters / actors are enjoyable. I liked it enough to rent it again.

Tideland is another I saw rather recently, but that’s intended for mature audiences. It’s pretty disturbing, but it’s a Terry Gilliam film - I think you’d have to enjoy some of his other works in order to really appreciate it.
