Movies - both new and old

Nothing to make a fuss about, but a good film nevertheless.

Specially the opening long shot.

I might check it out one day then.

Last night I watched The Pink Panther (1963), one of my favorite films.

Show Business - Eddie Cantor! I liked his performances, and he brought comedy to what would otherwise be a melodrama. Interesting look into Vaudeville.

I saw Beauty and Beast in 3D a couple of weeks ago with Glenn and my best friends. I can’t believe I thought a hand drawn film in 3D would be dumb; it was incredible. Yeah, so I’ve seen the movie before. But I really wanted to go, and I wanted to see Tangled Ever After, and I got a lithograph and ticket stub, which are now framed in my room. I had a great time!! Tangled Ever After was very entertaining.

^I thought of you when I saw the 3D B&tB poster. I’m glad it did not disapoint!

Unforgiven: My favorite Western movie, and my favorite Clint Eastwood film as well.

Haha, that’s awesome! Whenever I see something of PatF, you come to mind because I know you really like that one.

Aw, yay! I love that association. I love it when people associate awesome things I like to me. A co-worker and my friend both told me seperetley that they saw a Buster Keaton movie on netflix, and though of me. I was like, that’s so cool!

I wish I could see B&tB, but I’m really cutting back on my movie and DVD spending. It all adds up.

Midnight in Paris was a delight to watch! It’s not a perfect film, and it’s predictable at many points, but I just plain adored this film. Along with Hugo, I now plan to purchase the blu-ray for this whenever I have the funds.

I just watched The Secret of Kells for the first time tonight. What a visually stunning film. Though it was rather vague in places, I didn’t mind it. It added to the overall feeling of mystery and enchanting intrigue that the film carries. Aisling is a charming character, too. [spoil]I was upset that she didn’t last long. I would have loved to see more of her.[/spoil]. I felt really connected to all the characters from the moment each was introduced, and I dunno, just everything about this movie drew me right in. I’ll definitely be watching it again, hopefully in higher quality next time. I was only able to watch it off of YouTube, sadly!

little chef

I watched Knocked Up last night, which wasn’t quite as terrible as I expected. In fact, behind its childish humour, it has a bit of a heart to it which was nice to see. I liked the cast, although I thought a lot of the supporting actors added very little to the film. I dont think i’ll be watchibg it again, but there were a few giggles and it was entertaining enough to hold my interest.

I would like to see that, but I don’t think I’ll be able to (That’s on of the best Disney films in my opinion). :frowning:

Both great movies. little_chef, yes that movie is just beautiful to watch. [spoil]And I too wish there was more Aisling[/spoil].

I’ve been wanting to see this movie, and your review inspires me to see it even more!

My Man Godfrey - A charming, cute movie.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s - Believe it or not, this was my first time seeing it, and I loved it! Great screenplay.

I love that movie! I want to watch it again sometime soon.

One of my favorite parts was seeing Holly and Paul kiss at the end with the grumpy looking, wet kitty squished between them!

Just now I finished The Lady Vanishes. A fun movie to watch!

The Lady Vanishes is hilarious. One of my favorite Hitchcocks.

And would you be surprised if you don’t find your favorite Tiffany’s scene in the book? It was an invention of the film.

Has anyone seen Miracle?

I still haven’t seen this movie either.

That is quite a funny scene.
