Movies - both new and old

Just saw the Lion King, I loved singing along the favorite songs that everyone knows.

I watched Stars Wars Episode II : Attack of the Clones – well, half of it actually. It was actually pretty good, considering I’m not a fan of the films. I’ll try to watch the rest of it when I have the time.

I saw the movie Poseidon the other day. I thought it was enjoyable. I was sad that a lot of people had to die.

I just watched Edward Scissorhands. It’s a really great film, and I don’t watch it that often actually. Johnny Depp’s performance in that film is great in my opinion, and it was his first collaboration with Tim. Anyway, like I said, I really enjoyed it.

I just watched Merlin in commemoration of it’s tenth birthday that just passed. Love it so even though it’s pretty long and incorrect for the most part.

I just saw Iron Man . It’s a great film. I enjoyed the effects and humor. I’ll surely be purchasing the DVD when it comes out.

I have heard many good things about that movie from my friends. I plan to see it next week. I heard the action sequences is amazing and there is a bonus scene at the end.

Here’s the official teaser trailer for The Spirit :

Oh, it looks really nice! Cool Bill!

Well two movies that i’ve been watching quite a bit (and if anyone has been paying attention, you’ll know why) are:

Jesus Christ Superstar- The 1973 version. I’ve been watching at least parts of it almost every day…

Monty Python’s Life of Brian- made in 1979. kind of the other end of the spectrum from JCS, in the sense that it’s set in biblical times and the character of Pilate is in both of them. (but like I said, the characterization is the complete opposite) I’ve been watching certain scenes from this one quite a bit too.

I will be watching Godspell today, in commemoration of Jeffrey’s death.

But yesterday I watched a bit of The Pick of Destiny - a funny but crude musical.

Just.Saw.Iron.Man. :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

That movie beats all three Spiderman movies and the Batman movie (the Christian Bale one). It is excellent, I totally recommend. :sunglasses:

Coolness, people, coolness!!! :sunglasses:

I just watched Son of the Mask last night along with Monkey Trouble. Saw Monkey Trouble as a kid so without a doubt I liked it, but Son of the Mask … cheesy, but worthwhile IMO, at least just to see Alan Cumming. :sunglasses:

Here’s the second official trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull :

I lurk so much that I can never remember if I’ve posted here or not…XD

Movies I like:

-Shaun of the Dead
-Transformers
-Mean Girls
-Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
-Pan’s Labyrinth

Thats all I can think of right now.

Dude, I have got to see Iron Man some time soon. I hear that it is a great movie.

Iron Man 2 has been announced for release on April 30, 2010 :

Oooh, that sounds exciting. I hope it can surpass people’s expectations.

I believe it will. I highly anticipate what they are going to do with Colonel Nick Fury and SHIELD and the Avenger Project. Drool, drool (Yeah, I"m kinda of a comic geek) If I’m correct, it was the 2nd largest opening with 100 million, beat only by Spiderman 3 - I’m sure Bill will correct me if I"m wrong.

I recommend seeing “The Great Debaters.” I was surprised at how good the movie was. It may sound kinda stupid t first, but the movie keeps your attention throughout the whole thing.
