Movies - both new and old

Are any of you into the James Bond movies?

Just thought I’d ask. I’m not for some reason…

Oh I love James

Bond. THe action and themes always get me. James Bond reminds me so much of the Incredibles. That is because both

are incredibly similar.

TSS - I bet a thousand dollars that you’ve seen Casino

Royale.

Yes I have Bill. I thought the movie was okay. It was a

little too long for me, but I enjoyed the action and the Poker game. Really, really intense stuff in the

movie.

Yeah, Daniel Craig seems good from what I’ve seen. It’s also

known that Never Say Never Again isn’t an official James Bond film. It was distributed by Warner Bros. I think.

The official ones are distributed by United Artists, MGM, and most recently, Sony.

My three favorite ones were

Tommorow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, and Die Another Day. Those movies got me really intrested.

Ya’ can’t forget

Dr. No either – that’s one of my favorites. Yep – I’m also quite fond of the

James Bond films. I haven’t seem them all yet, but I plan to in due time.

I can’t believe no one has

asked this yet:

Who here is a fan of the Star Wars

films?

I absolutely love the genious masterpieces that George

Lucas has conjured up over the years (except for The Phantom Menace, of course) –

one of the first things I think of when I hear the word “movies” is Star

Wars.

But my dad has to be the ultimate geek when it comes to

these films. He’s seen A New Hope and

“Empire” only over 300 times. And don’t even get me started on the

collectables and stuff… It’s pretty awesome, though. And I guess I shouldn’t complain, as I’m just as bad

when it comes to being completely obsessed with Star Wars. :stuck_out_tongue:

I have only seen one

Star Wars movie. That movie was Return of the Jedi. What I really love in star wars are the light sabers.

I never really got into the Star Wars films. Shame, considering they are some of the finest movies ever

made.

The reason why I never watched any

was because I was too scared. Counting the fact that I was so young.

TSS – Man, you must of been really young! There not that

scary!

Well, I was really afraid of pain and death. Yes I

was so young.

The Star

Swordsman - gasp You’ve gotta be kidding… Dude you…you gotta see them, man! They’re only

the most awesome feature films on this entire planet and the universe combined. Best part about it is watching it

as a kid; scary it is, yes, but awesome they most definitely are as well!

Bill - Cha – they’re incredible!

Mitch: believe me, I have tred so hard to watch them again, but I keep falling asleep and I

always wake up durring the light saber action.

 • double gasp - Oh well. To each his own, that’s what I say.

My

sister and I are so into Star Wars that we actually formulated an enitre parody on

the thing. It’s absolutely hilarious. Can’t tell you what it is though, until I

copyright it. (snigger)

There is an actual

parody and Star Wars. It is from Wierd Al. Star Wars has just expanded so much. It has become a world wide

culture one might say.

A long long time ago,
In a galaxy

far away,
Naboo was under an attack…

Oh yeah, I know the whole thing by heart. It’s

one of my favorite “Weird Al” parodies.

Back back on-topic… (snigger)

Yes, back on topic. What other kinds of movies do you all like?

I love documentaries, but – unfortunately – there

aren’t that many of them around. The ones that I have seen (which are all animal documentaries, coincidentally)

I declare absolutely fantastic, however. One of my favorites has to be March of the

Penguins, with Winged Migration following close behind. I also saw

The Grizzly Man some time back; I must say that the guy was

pretty…“intense”. (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

I

am not really a fan of documentaries. But still, I thought March of the Penguins was okay. THey were cute

though.
