Speaking of Pirates… I just saw On Stranger Tides, finally! In 3D. Awesome film, loved every single minute of it. And I don’t often like ‘real’ movies, I barely watch anything other than animation… But Pirates is just awesome, 'cuz it’s pirates with awesome music!

In general, awesome film. Can’t wait for the fifth!

It was green-lighted by the studio a long time ago and the first draft of the script has been written.

But Johnny Depp put it on hold, so there’s nothing sure yet. No other cast member has talked about it.

Well, that and the fact that this script was written by Terry Rossio, who wrote the previous four, but this time without his usual collaborator Ted Elliot.

Did I read somewhere there was going to be a sixth one too? I say bring it on, and this did really well with all the box office stuff, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t (do the fifth one, at least).

The sixth one has been discussed in some early mentions of the fifth movie in some media, but by now, it’s not a certain thing. At least Bruckheimer has talked about the fifth, but he isn’t mentioning a sixth movie at the moment.

Oh well, at least they’re even talking about a fifth. I don’t think I could bear not knowing what happens to [spoil]Philip and Syrena[/spoil] cause they’re my favorite part of the movie and they’re fate is questionable :cry: I just need to know what happens

Well, I don’t know if they would appear again, as they’ve insisted the next movie would be an stand alone. Anyway, I suppose they’ll continue at least two storylines:

[spoiler]1- Getting the Black Pearl out of the bottle.

2- Probably giving a conclusion to that scene after the credits.[/spoiler]

Aye, but that won’t happen, and I’m relieved, as Tim Burton has a very recognizable style that doesn’t fit the series.

Anyway, in Entertainment Weekly, Johnny Depp did say he had trouble letting go of the role of Jack, ‘there’s so much of him in me.’ So chill, people, Johnny Depp will never walk out! I’d actually freak if they kill Jack or something…But then again that’s not possible, too many fans would jump on the screenwriters and kill them…
