I already watched the film last Saturday, because of time I am not able to share my thoughts right now, but I’ll do it next week for sure
TDIT, that is awesome!! Have fun at both. ![]()
TDIT that’s sooo cool! Jealousy ![]()
I love Pirates, even though the critics cried nay
I mean, who doesn’t love Jack, and I’m being a fangirl but the missionary = <3 He was nice and just amazing in every way shape and form. Really.
And who doesn’t love Jack? Really, he’s so much fun to quote ![]()
I’ll be honest. I didn’t notice him much, or care, until after he took his shirt off. Then I was like HELLLLLOOO!
If only all missionaries were like that. And it just got to me how well he treated her, and all of that. Plus he was holding on to his little Crucifix, and I just kind of fell in love right there ![]()
After watching Pirates, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is my second favorite PoTC movie. I just loved it. First of all, Jack. Who doesn’t love Jack? Depp was brilliant once again. The places we the audience traveled to in the movie was just breathtaking. It was scary, exotic, beautiful, and intense. I loved Geoffery Rush as Barbosa as well. [spoil]He was funny with his peg leg. what a clever contraption.[/spoil] Finally, I love the love arc with the missionary and the mermaid. [spoil]First off, I thought that the mermaid looked pretty hot. It was so sweet how he treated her, how he cared. And in turn, she cared right back.[/spoil]

Right y’are, mate! Like I said earlier, I watch it for Jack. From the moment he walks off a sinking boat in the first one, he was walking right into my heart.
after seeing the film twice (May 21 & May 25), I am here to share my thoughts
Unsurprisingly, I loved it, I exactly think this: It’s obvious that Dead Man’s Chest and At World Ends had a lot more attention to detail and energy on its scenes. But I think the plot, pacing, script, etc. is better in this one. So it balances out. I state that On Stranger Tides is the 2nd best of the series over AWE, the only thing I was disappointed about was Ian McShane, YES, I think the writers should have given him more fun facts, his character was plain with no deep evil purpose, in that aspect I see Davy Jones (DMC) much better as a foe, PERFECT Soundtrack, Perfect Roles: Angelica was charming and I am enchanted with her, Jack as always the BEST of the film, but Barbossa stole the show, I love his character, I am so glad to say that maintaining Gibbs in the sequel was a great choice, and finally Jack the monkey, hahahahah, that was superb,I was also delighted with the mermaids attack, that scene was more than awesome, to end with I would like to mention the scene after the end credits, did anyone else stay for it?
Can`t WAIT for PIRATES 5
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides got an
[size=200]A-[/size]
so far the best film of the year I’ve watched, I know I am a pirates fan, so this colud sound like a fanboy grade, but I really loved it
Yes, I stayed for the last scene, but I always do so, and a post-credits scene is a tradition in POTC.
I had many theories on what it would be about, but that one was surprising!
And yes, Barbossa always steals the movie to me, since the first one (and [spoil]specially in the ending of DMC[/spoil]). He’s my favorite character!
He’s my favorite character in the series as well!
Hey, I didn’t expect that! Most people I know often overlook his character.
But I really like him. That’s why he was the first one I bought in my Pirates action figure collection:

Wait what scene after the credits? Did it explain where Phil and Syrena went? I thought their relationship was pretty fast, but hey it’s a movie, you only have two hours! I agree with you guys; they’re so sweet together! ![]()
Like I say in my siggy-- I hate easter eggs in these movies, as we can’t trust the characters to tell the truth. Remember what Angelica said…
No, the scene wasn’t about Phillip and Syrena, but another character.
And I don’t got the easter eggs complain, or how it’s related to the characters telling the truth. And what part of what Angelica said?
one QUESTION came to my MIND about the film:
To the ones who have already wacthed PoC 4, [spoil]do you think the flying dutchman is inside of one of the bottles that Jack owns now, it would mark the return of Will and Elizabeth in the 5th film[/spoil]
I seriously doubt it. This is why:
[spoiler]1- The Flying Dutchman isn’t in the living world at the time of the movie, and won’t be until ten years after AWE.
2- Ten years after AWE we see that the Flying Dutchman is free and well, and returns to Elizabeth (Post-credits scene)
3- The Flying Dutchman is far too powerful. It’s very unlikely Blackbeard could have defeated it.
4- Knigthley and Bloom won’t return to the franchise anytime soon, so don’t expect their return for now.[/spoiler]
Faboo figurine Spirit! Now you need a pegged legged one!
Sadly, they didn’t release any On Stranger Tides figures.
But I also own:
Jack Sparrow (With his hat):

Captain Teague:

Sao Feng:
Bootstrap (With Dead Man’s Chest and key):
Davy Jones:
Maccus:

Palifico:

Cursed Pirate:
