I also applied for the graphic internship. I haven’t heard anything yet but my friend who also applied got a rejection email last friday. I dont have my work online or anything but this wait is just killer…

I know this waiting is getting old, but I applied for the graphic internship and have heard absolutely nothing yet. Not even an email. I keep wondering if they have contacted people about interviews yet as it seems to be getting kinda late in the process… fingers crossed…
I visit this site almost everyday to see if anyone’s getting the updates. It’s really cool that this is like a community for the internship. I haven’t come across any other place that would have something like this, so thought i’d give my two cents.
I’ve applied to the Post Production internship, which required no reel so I dont know how vigorous that decision process is. I haven’t heard anything from them yet and I’m pretty sure this is the week we’re all supposed to get responses. I hope they respond, good or bad news, there are too many companies that leave us applicants hanging.
Anyone apply to Post Production or the Editorial for this summer? Please share. I havent read anything about being interviewed for that position and that most of the attention is naturally drawn to the art/animation/etc.
Anyways, best luck to everyone! In the end, we all went for one of the biggest studios ever. I feel like this is applying to Harvard Med school for us film/animation students.
Yeah, I’ve been checking going to this site at least 10x a day. I freak out every time my phone rings at work and I cant answer it. Someone just called my this morning actually, but there’s no #. Kinda freaking out. I mean, would Pixar block their #?

I had also applied for the post-production internship this summer, and I still have heard nothing. Glad to know someone else is in the same boat. ha. I am going to assume this has to be the week. Of course, I tell myself that every week. Maybe they haven’t made a decision?

Wisesm0. I think we have all been telling ourselves each week would be the week we would find out. Lol. When was the deadline for you application? Bc since the graphic app wasnt due to the 6th of April technically it’s only the beginning I week 5 and they did say 6 to 8 weeks for final decisions so I guess we shouldn’t give up quite yet.

I have applied for the graphic and story positions, also haven’t heard anything yet. Something I was curious about and can’t seem to find anywhere, what date would these internships actually begin? I know it’s June something, but what? Anyway good luck to everyone as we wait out this storm a bit longer (hopefully not too much longer…)
Dear God, it’s only the beggining of the 5th week!! Ugh, I thought it’s already the 6th week . . . I’m gonna go crazy! 
I know what you mean lol. And yeah I just checked this friday it will be exactly 5 weeks since the deadline for the graphic design internship. I dont know when any of the other applications were due though… I think this forum and knowing that other people are also waiting is the only thing keeping me sane at this point lol

When you say you’re waiting for a response, did you already interview with those 3 companies or are you waiting for a chance to interview?
I’d like to know that as well. Is anyone here waiting to hear back after an interview? or are we all just waiting for any sort of contact from pixar at all…
I’m waiting to hear any information whatsoever. I just find it surprising that they’re waiting so long to even send us all rejection letters. Maybe we all suck just that bad? 
Oh dont say that! lol I honestly feel like if we all sucked then we would have gotten rejections emails in the first batch they sent out a week or so ago. Im gonna keep assuming that not hearing anything is a sign that we are still being considered…
Well, last year everyone had been contacted and interviewed by the 11th, hadn’t they? It would make sense that this year would follow a similar timeline…
I dont know anything about when they contacted people last year but it seems like from what I have heard that its not really all that consistent, like some are contacted way early and some way late… so i guess we will find out eventually
hmm last year i got my rejection email on may 3rd. but this year the application deadline was a few days later than last year. so i’m guessing they’ll be contacting people any day now o_o!

How exciting to be apart of a community of fellow Pixar intern hopefuls! =D this year I’m applying for story XD. But last year I applied for animation and got a no on May 10th. I think the key is not stressing about it. You’ll know when you need know right? =) I recommend a dose of Jason Mraz to clear up those worries haha. (I do admit it’s pretty fun to speculate though =))
