Pixar Summer Internship 2015

wow I think this is the most people accepted to the internship from the forum! again, congrats!

So how about the story internship? has anybody heard anything?

My profile hasn’t been updated once :frowning:

I applied on March 30th. I then received an email about my application from a recruiter on April 9th and just had my first round interview with a different recruiter on April 14th.

At this point in time, I’m kinda just looking at the “last updated” date like

DAY 52.

KMH Haven’t heard anything yet, but we’re officially past the estimated mid-April date from the e-mail. Maybe by the end of the week? What did you apply for?

OMG! Congratulations Andreagoh and R_Marrujo
I’m so happy for you guys!!!

Whooop Whoooop

Hello everybody,
I am a new member here as well ! I also applied for the production management internship…
My profile has been updated one week ago (April 9th) but still no news…
If anyone gets an email about this internship… Would be great to know!
My fingers are soooooo crossed… !
Bonne chance a tous!

Congrats for the PUP applicants!!

I’ve just receive my rejection lettre for BlueSky.

KMH I haven’t heard anything from Blue Sky but if they’re sending out rejections and I haven’t even interviewed, also expecting a no. I applied for story.

Hey everyone, when were the due-dates for Pixar stuff? Story and PUPS were both due March 1st. Hoping that now Pups is decided they’ll jump on story.

KMH, Neffy, Third No interview from Blue Sky either. Looks like I’ll be waiting for my rejection letter to make it official in my inbox soon. Something nice to look forward to, ha.

Underwood I applied for Effects

Hey guys, kind of an embarrassing question but:
what exactly is the PUPS program?
what do the letters stand for?
and what do they teach you in the internship?

I applied for story so that’s basically the only thing I have looked into

thanks and don’t laugh at me!

Storyguy

Pixar Undergraduate Program. It’s a classroom based internship that instead of focusing on one area helps introduce a broader skillset within production. so it’s mostly technical but there’s artistic aspects as well–they really try to develop creative techies.

Heads up: If anyone applied to Disney TV, those rejections are also going out today. My friend just got her ‘no’ e-mail. :frowning:

Just got the rejection letter from Blue Sky. I never made it from Submission to In Progress for Disney TV, so yay, gonna rack up two NLIC e-mails today!

Yeeep just got my Blue Sky rejection too. Hey, where do you check your Disney TV status?

Third I applied through the Disney PI’s, so I can check my status on the career dashboard.

Yeah, looks like I’m NLIC for those as well.

Hang in there, everybody!

thanks for the info on PUP everyone! Sounds cool

About the other internships at pixar:
Why do you think they are going through the various internships (i.e. Story, anim) one by one?
Dont you think all departments interview candidates at the same time?
