One of my friends got the story internship!! I’m half happy for her, half obscenely jealous. LOL

Is there a champion among us willing to contact recruiting? Not I, I’m too chicken. 
Here’s my thoughts on the matter (that no one wants to hear): If it generally takes an e-mail and two phone interviews before one is accepted, we should probably assume that process takes two weeks. That being said, we should know before May, and there’s only a week and a half left of April. That math doesn’t look promising.
Did I just depress myself?
I’ve been trolling Facebook and Twitter, and haven’t seen anyone claiming to have been accepted except for story. So maybe, just maybe, it’s not over yet.

Haha, As far as applications go, I applied in for animation in February and just reading all the comments are SOOO satisfying! You are all in the same boat as me! I’m just about to finish my Freshman year in University in Canada! That’s my intro! Haha I still haven’t heard anything back from Pixar yet, I called them today and they say that they can’t release any information as far as their status, but the most frustrating part is that they said that they said if by June I we haven’t heard, it’s safe to say we didn’t get it -_-

Hi all! Thought I’d finally join this exciting madness 
This is my first time applying for Pixar. I’m graduating from Oakland University in Rochester, MI at the end of the month!
I only applied to the Production internship and I haven’t yet heard back either… nor have I gotten my status updated D: I’m glad I’m not the only one!
Mine was updated yesterday, some got theirs updated a week or two ago. There’s really no telling where they are in the process.
Waiting is like, terrible. Especially when you’re basically waiting for bad news (at least, that what I expect).
For those of you who applied with LAIKA, I did see on their bulletin board that they they’ll be contacting qualified candidates by April 29. I was grossly under-qualified for the position I applied to, so I’m still really hopping for Pixar.

My status finally got updated for the Production Internship! Fingers crossed we hear something back about it soon.
Does anyone know how long the interview process takes/ how long after interviewing they inform you of your success?
I’ve noticed some people posted in the middle of February on twitter that they received an offer for an internship position at Pixar. Does anyone know how they got offered a position in Feb?
That seems highly unlikely as the deadline was March 1st for Summer 2016. It could’ve been for the Spring, not Summer?
No, they have said it was for a summer position! I’m wondering if they accept a handful of people from CalArts before the rest of us…

Hi everyone!
Good luck to everyone who applied! I am waiting with baited breath again to see what happens. I was rejected from the animation internship mid-May last year, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ll still be making a selection by the early part of May. That seems to have been the case last time.
Trying to be hopeful, but it’s such a suspenseful feeling not knowing.
