I applied for Sound and Media Systems and haven’t heard anything from either, my status was last updated March 23rd. The sound one wasn’t even open until after the March deadline, so yeah I agree it’ll probably be one of the last to get selected.
I can’t confirm anything, but from looking through past year’s forums, it looks like the ‘update’ feature is hard to track. Some accepted folks could follow it to the finish, while others didn’t even check it once, saying from past experiences it wasn’t a good indicator of the process.

Hello Guys! So I looked up my status, apparently it was last updated March 29th… and I hadn’t heard back from them- gotten a rejection email or acceptance letter…
Does that mean they did not accept my application?
From what I’ve seen from past threads, it seems like if they were to send a rejection, your status is updated later that day. So I would assume that someone has just reviewed your profile/resume/portfolio on that date, and passed it on. Could be wrong, but that generally seems to be the case!

I applied for two pixar internships and it’s my first time. Just waiting my rejection to can continue with my life
So I finally got an update! But no views on my website either, and it’s so ironic because I swapped out some of my projects for different ones the night before since I have a senior show coming up, and these new projects were definitely not as Pixar-oriented as the other ones. I’m kind panicking and I am accepting my defeat, but I just can’t help but laugh more than anything else, haha.
Mine was updated this morning too.
Should I assume they would call afterwards if they accepted it? Because otherwise, I’m just waiting on that rejection letter, haha.

I just discovered this forum today (while desperately trying to figure out what’s the status of my application), and I’m very happy to see that most people are on the same boat!
I applied for the Animation, PUP and Systems Software Development internships, and haven’t heard anything back. Has anyone heard back from any of these yet? My app was last updated on March 28th, should I be worried?
Anyway, I hope this will be a great week for all of us, full of great news and celebrations! I checked some of your portfolios and they’re insane, so you all deserve to get into Pixar!
