My status just changed yesterday, the 13th. Not sure what that means really.

No status change for me. Last status change was 3/28. :\
If art internships are updating it probably means they are picking candidates right now.

HI all!! I’ve been watching this forum for a while, and I’m finally jumping in! I too applied for the art internship and am waiting to hear back. Your portfolios all look fantastic, I hope SOMEbody hears back from Pixar! If you all have not yet listened to the Paper Wings podcast, or checked out Chris Oatley’s tips for a VisDev portfolio I HIGHLY recommend you do, it really changed how I take on my work. He worked for Disney and also consistently features artists on his podcasts like Claire Keane and Jen Ely and they are fantastic to listen to while working.

I have to ASSUME that they’re reviewing the most heavily-applied-to areas first, such as the PUP (which, if I remember correctly, @jp1 said they were deciding on this week and last), and maybe story. Although I would’ve guessed that art was more popular than story in terms of applicants, so maybe my theory’s a bust.
Maybe animation and graphic design next week? 
It feels like being picked last for gym class. Again.

Finally made an account! I applied to the production internship and had my status updated yesterday – crossing my fingers!
I just wanted to say how great it is to see such a huge group of positive/optimistic/supportive people – only a great company like Pixar can draw such a great crowd!
Everyone’s portfolio links look ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC – I really can’t stress how impressed I am by them.

I just was wondering how changed status looked like? Since in my account said that i applied for internship 2016, but last submited date is from 2 years ago. I am afraid that website just won’t show me in correct way. if you may show me screenshot so i may compare - that will probably help

Tory, my Application submitted says 2014 too but my last update was yesterday, 2016. I think it may just be a typo in the system.

I applied for production and mine also says 2014 for some reason, although mine has not been updated.
Can anyone confirm if the ‘update’ is actually the recruiters checking your application?

Has anyone heard anything back in regards to the sound internship? I applied back in February and my status was last updated March 18th.
ALSO, two people viewed my LinkdIn profile in private mode. Is it most likely recruiters or am I imagining things?
Hi, if my status has not been updated (for art) but others yes, it means that I did not pass the phase of resume and cover letter?
I also applied for the sound internship but have not gotten an update yet. I have a feeling we might be last since sound applications opened and closed later than the rest 
I actually didn’t apply until March 20th and that’s the date of my last update. I didn’t even know it was open in February so I guess I’m lucky it opened back up!
Hello all, thought I’d finally join in after reading the posts for the past couple of months. I applied for the documentary internship on the 28th February, but my status hasn’t updated since… Is this a bad sign? Seems like most have had their status update at least once. I am from the UK, so I suppose it could have quite an impact on the application. My showreel has had a few views over the past two weeks, as well as my website, but obviously this could come from anywhere. 
(p.s. everyone’s portfolios are wonderful - some really fantastic work!)
