Well, I haven’t gotten the e-mail yet, but I’m very sure I’ll be joining you shortly. 
Sad to see many of you recieving rejection letters.
Today marks week 8… so hang on people!!
I too have received my polite rejection for the art internship…sigh. Better luck next time, I suppose.
On the bright side, I have made friends with the lady from my church who works at Pixar as a story artist. She was hired after the story internship, which she got after 3 tries. Which tells me, don’t lose hope! 
I will be chatting with her again sometime in the near future so if anyone has any questions they want me to ask, I could try to do so
Hey @monedula! I know for certain that they have 6 guaranteed available spots open this year, POOOOSSIBLY 8. At this point, I know there are 2-4 spots still open and this year, I’ve heard the 2,000+ people applied for animation alone… 
but disclaimer: One source said 2,000+ applicants, another said 1,200+ applicants. Whatever the case, still 1,000+ for animation.
I got my rejection letter too.
Does anyone know if they typically do the art internships during the fall/winter season?
Also, if anyone has any links to past accepted portfolios, I would love to take a look at those.

Got my rejection mail for my art internship today…
but funny thing was 10 mins before that mail i got a mail to confirm date and time for my on site interview…and then i got the rejection letter apologizing for the previous email

I got rejected from PUP a few days ago. If you haven’t got an email it might be in your spam folder.
Got my rejection letter for Art this morning unfortunately. But I will continue to work harder to make my dream a reality. This rejection will only motivate me more.

I haven’t heard anything from those two internships production and PU. I’ve checked my spam folders as well and nothing. LOL I finally made an account I’ve been watching your guys comment since day one. You guys seem like nice and funny people. Truly wish you guys the best!
Pixar University is different I think actually! PUP stands for Pixar Undergraduate Program, right?
