x3haijessiex3, Cars also got me hooked on PIXAR! Right after the movie, I went into a Borders and found The Art of Cars book. The rest is history!!

Jessie, the new chapter to your story is great! I like the name you picked for the daughterā¦ āJaneā has always been one of my favorite names (although I still have never met anyone with that name in real life)! Keep up the good work!
I find it amusing that so many of us came to know Pixar through Cars. Before 2006 it had just been another movie company, and I was mainly into Veggietales back then. Once we had heard of it, though, we like went to the website everyday and watched every video as soon as it came upā¦ that was how I was introduced to John Lasseter and the rest of their team. I also collected every bit of merchandise I could get my hands on, and we collected all the toys from the Kelloggās cereal boxes (we went through at least 30-something boxes that summerā¦ and in all that we never got the Doc Hudson toy! We ended up getting it off of E-Bay). I saw the movie at least 4 times in the theater, and afterwards I loved Pixar! 
I probably wonāt be on much today (of course, I say that nowā¦ 
), Iāve got some work to do on that octopus model I showed you all yesterday, and Iām in the process of making a new sigā¦ (and this is just in my free time! <img src=ā{SMILIES_PATH}/youwhaaa.gifā alt=āo_0;;ā title="You

Huh, maybe it is beacuase I am a coupe eyars older than the rest of you Pixarteers (I am 17), but my true obsession with Pixar began after Monsters, Inc. With four genius films by that point, topping it off with the fourth being my all time favorite, I just knew that this studio was great!
My brothers just created this as a collage of all our favorite characters from The Clone Wars. I thought it was pretty cool.

I decided I was going to do it, and walked about the park (there was booths and other things going on that day) till I found somebody that could get me in. So I picked a song I knew by heart. I donāt have any tips to give. 
To tell you the truth I had never sang in front of people before, and the three other times I had been on stage I got stage fright! So Iām not sure what I was thinking. (If I was thinking at all!)

Iāve always been a Pixar fan. Iāve been watching Toy Story my whole life, I canāt remember the first time I saw itā¦ Any of the Toy Stories would be my favorite. I can never decide which oneās my favorite.

When I read a post, I look at the avatar to figure out who it is, not the name. I change mine every now and then, so I hope you all donāt think Iām trying to discourage changing them. Change is good!

The movie that got me into Pixar was Finding Nemo. I saw it with my dad in theaters, and I just knew there was something special about it. It was only after that that I began to differentiate between Pixar and other animation studios.
Whoa, you disappear for a while, and the thread explodes! Iāll have to go back and read everybodyās stories and watch everyoneās videos sometime soon. Iām actually supposed to be working on my online course right now, but I couldnāt resist taking a peek here to see what Iāve missed. And then I end up spending 20 minutes reading through over 10 new pages.
I honestly donāt know what movie got me into Pixarā¦Iāve loved their movies since I was littleā¦but I guess it probably was Cars that made me realize they were all made by the same company.
Ami, it was a pleasure writing it. I tried to explain the ācutenessā of their [spoil]daughter[/spoil] without overly doing it. Looking back, I should have done more.
