I’m really happy I found Pixar Planet. 
Can anyone recommend some boards where I can jump in easily? I’m overwhelmed with how awesome it is, and in the midst of looking around, I haven’t figured out where I want to post yet!

Coincidentally, I’m about a fifth way through the last book (Deathly Hallows) and I’m about… flips pages… the beginning of the ‘Magic is Might’ chapter. I think [spoil]they’re gonna break into the Ministry[/spoil]. Riveting stuff. Sarah - Dude, if that had happened, us fans might have actually been fully satisfied. You never know, though! Each company and director has their own style of doing things. Warner Bros. hasn’t done too bad of a job, but they still screwed up royally in parts.
And, yeah, I’m with thedriveintheatre: Browsing around the “Members, Inc.” section is probably a good place to start, or wherever you feel comfortable!

I’m back. That Best Picture nomination for Up and the awesome members in Pixar Planet drew me back. Your hopes and prayers really helped. Anyways, I was gone from Pixar Planet because my mom has ovarian cancer, the doctors think. She was on her death bed in the states because she had grown complications from the chemotherapy she was taking, so I had to go back home and hope for a miracle in December. There was a miracle last December. To make a long story short, her cancer count was 900, but now it’s around 27. My mom’s second bout with cancer is in remission again. I just found out two days ago. Her cancer is incurable, but what a big time relief her cancer is gone.
I’ll be busy giving ya’ll the updates from Japan again. By the way, if anyone here in Pixar Planet need any support with living with cancer, don’t hesitate to PM me. I know a lot of nutritional healing recipes from Japan made easy.

Hi all. I guess it’s about time I introduce myself here. xDD;;
My name is Dana (or Manda, either one) on the internet. I live in Canada, I’m twenty, and a college student, currently majoring in Graphic Design and having Animation as my minor. I’ve always been fond of Pixar ever since I first watched Toy Story many years ago, but I only recently became a huge fan after I finally watched and caught up with all their movies and learned a lot more about them after watching a whole bunch of DVD bonus features, podcasts, and other youtube videos while purchasing some of their artbooks. Looking at all of their beautiful pre-production artwork has really inspired me to continue practicing on my own drawings while becoming a better artist, and they’ve become a huge inspiration for me. I’m also a huge Anime/Manga obsessed nerd with too long a list of other anime and manga series that I love.
I actually tend to disappear off the internet alot because art classes at college consumes my time like crazy, but I’m so glad I discovered these forums and I look forward to getting to know everyone. My word, it’s been a while.
