I think if I see this in the cinema, It’ll probably be something very nostalgic for me since I saw “Muppets in Outerspace” in theaters as a kid. I just hope that we some more of Gonzo then what the trailer had.

One thing the first Muppet movies did, was they were often about overcoming adversity, and still making it…even if everything didn’t go off perfectly.

Like at the end of the first Muppet Movie: they made it…but it wasn’t perfect, yet they still made the most of it. :stuck_out_tongue:

To me, ‘The Muppets’ feels moreso like the next generation of Muppeteeers’ moment to shine. I believe Frank Oz is pretty much done with voicing his old mainstays (Ms Piggy (as well as Grover from Sesame Street) have a new voice-actor), and I believe there are some old reliables still going at it.

I was talking to a friend of mine who works at The Disney Store, and was somewhat surprised to find there hasn’t been a bigger push regarding the Muppet brand. One would assume they’d be decking the place out with lots of plush. Heck, I would have loved a make-shift ‘Muppet What-Not’ station put in place for the movie’s release.

Saw the new trailer and was a little impressed. Good to see that we saw Gonzo featured a bit more. Anyway, for some reason I see this film for possibly new-aged Muppet Fans instead of the old schooled ones.

I’d like to see this movie! I love Muppets despite the fact I’ve watched The Muppet Show and some of the Muppet movies only relatively recently. Although I watched Sesame Street when I was a kid. :smiley:
