Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

I would imagne the Disney store will also have them, but I did call two separate stores and they have no clue about them. They didn’t even know they were coming out.
Does anyone know if the alien single pack comes with a certificate?

Same with my Target, although I was able to get the aliens from them online with some gift cards.

Because the packaging does not say Toy Story Collection, I would assume that there is no certificate. But, you never know.

Also, thanks PixarFan3045 for the quick response to my question.

I swear, if these new aliens don’t squeak…

It would mention it on the box if they did. Don’t ever expect them to squeak.

Well, it appears that this is the “basic” release of them. That being said, the originals were made of a hard material so it would retain shape, which would make squeaking impossible (this all comes from what I’ve heard around here). Anyways, since the “basic” Toy Story line is made for more practical toys for kids, it would only make sense for them to have squeakers now.

The new box art isn’t too appealing, but the glow in the dark factor will probably make them a good companion to Buzz.

It looks like the aliens are still going to come in the same variety of expressions, which is good cause that’s one of the things I liked about the TSC aliens (by now I’m not going to expect them to squeak though):

And did anyone notice that the Alien Desk Light Kellogg’s is giving away seems to be modeled pretty close to the TSC aliens as well?

Does anyone have a retail on those?
It would be cool to buy one per week, if they’re less than the 3 pack (for one) and assemble a huge bin of them to recreate a lifesized claw machine.
Or win the lotto and buy about 200 3 packs hahah.

Disney World used to have a replica of the Crane Game at Pizza Planet (a.k.a. the best place on earth). This was around 2000. I remember the aliens inside weren’t quite the same as well, they were plush and bean-filled. It was still a sight to behold.

The last time I went, (around 2004) it looks like they removed it

on the box it says only at Target

Heres mine with the shortened legs.

Heres my TCS stuff so far.

IMO, the feet look better without the bottom

“What if Andy starts playing with me more Woody? huh? You gonna knock me out of the window too?”

I just got my mr potato head. he’s awesome! although i am having a hard time taking off his mustache but i’ll get use to it. Also I can’t wait til saturday when jessie and bullseye come out. not sure if i want lotso seeing how he’s not andy’s toy. i’ll need to see a review to see how he works

What am I supposed to be looking at? the video?
Edit: ahh, I see now. yeah that is odd. I guess a prototype sqeeked at one point.

it seems to me like the prototypes were a lot more accurate and cooler hahah. they shoulda just released thm that way insted of aiming for a young audience. no one pays attention to the age requirements anyway lol

Agreed. I would have liked a squeeking alien instead of a stiff piece of plastic. :\

And who thinks kids wouldn’t completely love an alien that squeaks? Anyways, the ones in the video obviously look much nicer, they’re supposed to make you want to buy it. I mean, do any of McDonald’s burgers look as good as they’re advertised (semi-random)?

I saw a Buzz Lightyear on eBay that was hand-picked by Thinkway for promotion, that one probably has none of the defects that have been discussed.
