After watching some of the new trailers, I think we should all e-mail Thinkway and demand a TSC Twitch. He would be awesome in the definitive line. Much better than a stuffed animal (Lotso).
i don’t think there should be and TSC of Minor characters like Twitch. I think it should be just Major Character’s like the Toys in Andy’s Room.
Lotso is a much more important character to the plot, do you really think it makes more sense to go with what looks to be a very minor character over him?
It would be nice if thinkway made scale versions of minor characters. They don’t have to be tsc, just in scale. I would be quite happy for some without all the bells and whistles.
Well they already made Lotso, and I don’t know how minor Twitch will be, but I know a stuffed animal would look horrible on my shelf next to the others. Twitch on the other hand, would come out to be like Buzz with wings, only bigger.
I don’t see anyone arguing over getting the Prospector next, and Jessie and Bullseye were hardly Andy’s toys.
I would like them to do Trixie myself. They already did Rex and showed what the box for his toyline is like, so because Trixie is from that same toyline they should do one of her too.
Lotso is an important Character. Im just saying that he, and Andy’s toys are like the main character’s. Lotso is the leader of the toys in sunnyside right?
So i think thats y they made Lotso a TSC. Twitch is just 1 of the minor characters.
Thinkway should concentrate on getting us a tsc Slinky before any other minor characters. If they go for a wave 3, it would be criminal for him not to be included

While I agree with everyone that thinkway will probably not make a Bo peep, we might get lucky and get one from another company, kinda like how the Disney store did the new version of Hamm, they might make a Bo peep lamp.
Well if they’re going to do all of Andy’s toys then they probably should, but the one that’s made now is quite accurate already (except of course for putting the string between his eyes, so if they do make a TSC one that should defiantly be fixed). Other than that I think Slinky and Disney Store Hamm are the two characters not in the collection yet that were made just right.
Speaking of Slinky, how’s your replica coming along? 
I agree about a stuffed animal not meshing well with my collection, which is why I’m not that eager to buy him. but from a marketing perspective it makes plenty of sense. kids and girls will love him, and will eat up his bells and whistles for sure. That same demographic would find twitch kinda of disgusting or less appealing. He’s aimed at kids and girls like I said, but he’s part of the collection because of the importance of his character in the movie. And there are collectors who will feel the need to add him too. I think twitch will be about as important as any of Sid’s toys. Their appeal isn’t very broad. Teddy bears are classic toys that nearly everyone has had at some point as a kid, so it makes sense to capitalise on that.
As for your other comment, how are Jessie and bullseye not Andy’s toys? they are just as much a part of the gang as anyone else by the end of TS2. is Ms potato head any less his toy because she came in at the end of the first movie? (and off screen no less)? Is Buster not his dog? Andy still had a lot of childhood left to live, and we see him playing with them plenty in both the end of TS2 and the home videos that bridge the 10 year or so gap.
The argument can be made that the prospector wont get released due to not being Andy’s toy (he probably doesn’t even know of his existence) but not Jessie and Bullseye.
And there Are people clamoring for him, for the simple reason of wanting to own the entire roundup gang. And being such a huge character in Ts2 I think he’ deserves a TSC release. I’m certain if the collection existed 11 years ago he would have been made. but from a marketing perspective they seem to be done with his character, outside of videogames and such.
From what I can tell, Thinkway likes to go big or not at all. The amy men and aliens were a bit of an anomoly. Heres the way I see it.
Slinky; their satisfied enough with the one thats out. would be too expensive to do right for reasons Tyler Hasslet touched on.
Mrs potato head.; might happen, might not, I’d say theres a 50/50 chance.
prospector; would be a no brainer to finish off the roundup gang, if there is a wave 3 I would expect/hope he gets made.
Zurg another important character, he was referenced in the first, and made his debut in the second. He makes sense to make. Especially since woody has 2 other members or his toy line made, Why not give Buzz’s toy line some love?

Quick note, a TSC version of her wouldn’t have to be porcelain, they could easily Make her out of a shiny plastic and look just as good for the most part. it wouldn’t be the first time they didn’t match the materials exactly. Look at Rex and his slightly translucent soft plastic when its supposed to be hard and shiny. or the aliens being hard instead of soft.
And remember all the ones I have listed in the too minor section, they could still make accurate ones to scale, just don’t expect TSC releases. Thinkway likes to add electronics whenever possible, and I cant see much being added to any of these. They would have a lot more fun with characters like Zurg as far as adding doodads out the wazoo.
Packaging is also a big factor. we have an idea of what all their packaging looks like. even though we didn’t get to see Zurg’s packaging, I believe they really do have the design lying around somewhere. the rest are minor alterations to existing packages already out.
Which brings me to Trixie, she makes more sense than many others (like twitch) as far as adding new characters to the TSC line. probably second to Lotso, She’s like a Rex but for girls to become fans of.
Pardon Kyle: but we DID see Zurg’s packaging. He punched through it.

I’ll throw this out there for argument’s sake (though not to start an argument) that Mrs. Potatohead was NOT one of Andy’s toys (she was Molly’s, as was Bo Peep), but I personally would have loved it if Thinkway made both her AND Bo Peep anyway. Andy does obviously play with both of them even though their not “technically” his. However, Jessie and Bullseye are most definitely Andy’s toys (as Kyle said) by the time we get to the end of Toy Story 2.
A Thinkway Slinky and Hamm would have been awesome, but I can definitely live with the Disney Store versions since they’re at least in scale with the rest of the Toy Story Collection. (Hamm actually is perfect, while Slinky does have the stupid hole in the head, but whatever.)
As far as all the others, I wouldn’t be upset if Thinkway wanted to come out with a TSC version of EVERY toy in the three movies. I wouldn’t buy them all, but it would be nice to have them out there for those who want them. I personally will only buy Jessie and Bullseye and will be leaving both the Utility Belt Buzz and Lotso out of my own collection as I too only really want the toys from Andy’s room.
Would love an accurate Bo Peep, Mrs. Potatohead, Wheezy, Rocky Gibralter, and a few others, but I can live without them. Overall I’m pretty happy with TSC characters we did get from Thinkway.

I am definitely interested in both the Slinky project and the Potato Head Eyes. No pressure though. 
I’ll finally have prototype pictures this weekend, of at least the head, and front half of the body.
The potato head eyes I’m waiting on, I can do it as soon as I can purchase mr. p, but dont have the funds yet. Unless someone wanted to send me their eyes in a self addressed mailer, and I’ll return the original eyes unharmed as well as a set of the seperate eyes and brows, and a voucher for %20 my Slinky Dog.

I think the only major characters are Woody and Buzz. Everyone else is a minor character.
So if Lotso is the main character on the other side, I would think Twitch could still get the TSC treatment.
Who would be the minor characters on the other side? Stretch, Twitch, Chunk, Sparx, Ken. I’ll take the first three for the TSC line, but I think Stretch would be too big.
I can almost guarantee that if they did make Twitch, he would be one of the coolest out of the whole line.
I personnaly could care less if he was one of Andy’s toys. I’m a fan of everything Toy Story.
