I actually really am excited for Lotso
the fact that the toys are so diverse, a stuff bear isn’t gonna make my collection look bad
I would buy twitch only with a complete sunny side line, he seems like a very random toy
He still looks very cool though
I’m most likely not going to get Lotso, but I understand why he’s part of the line. Personally though, I feel they didn’t do a very good job with his TSC version. I’m waiting for some in hand pics, but when you compare his model to the toy it really looks off.
Ugh, I unfortunately won’t be getting any of the Wave 2 (or Wave 1, for that matter) TSC toys anytime soon… I have just $10 and (excuse me for putting this on Pixar Planet Forums) I think Super Mario Galaxy 2 may win my wallet over next month.
I really want Bullseye and Lotso, not too psyched about Jessie only because we’ve seen most of her features before in Woody, however I will still eventually get her. Definitely skipping out on Utility Buzz, mainly because he’s not Andy’s toy (yes, I know you can say the same about Lotso but he’s the main new TS3 character) - unless, of course, you can take his belt off when necessary (I don’t have TSC Buzz yet).
And Kyle, I agree that they probably won't make a TSC Bo Peep *cries inside*, but not because she's too minor. While she may be minor in TS3, she was right in the main gang in TS1 & 2 Right next to Woody, Buzz, Hamm, Rex, Potato Head, and Slinky Dog. I think it's based simply on toy appeal. Kids (yeah, yeah, I know I'm a kid but whatever) would much rather go for a toy such as Zurg, while he may only be in 1/3 of TS2 - simply because Buzz Lightyear's robot enemy with a ball gun would seem much cooler than a porcelain sheperd. (Wow, I sound like Prospector :confused: ) This is simply proven by the fact that they made R/C, not because he's a main character but because kids love remote-control cars. I might as well add in kids love space rangers, dinosaurs, teddy bears, and aliens (Oh, yeah, and Woody's kind of the star of the movies).
Wheezy, on the other hand, probably won't be made due to being a minor character in the plot, as you said. Really I've realized Wheezy is a very popular character, even still today. I was over my friend's house and her little brother had cardboard boxes turned into buildings just as Andy did with pictures of Wheezy thumbtacked to them and the buildings saying "Squeakers Inn" and whatnot. I asked him if he had Wheezy, and he said yes, but it was the plush version, the only one available. Besides, penguins in general are really popular... I'm really into them myself.
My whole point here is, while all of us, including myself, want a Bo Peep, Hamm, Slinky, Prospector, etc, yet sadly must realize that kids wouldn't be nearly as into them as the others. I could definitely see a Mrs. Potato Head being made, however, due to the fact only because they pretty much already have her made (just do what wampar did, add a Mrs. P voice box, and mass-produce).
Then, of course, there's the argument that this is the collector's line and shouldn't be geared 100% towards kids, but whatever, I've contradicted myself too many times in this post already.

Heh, same here with Mario galaxy 2 taking my money. though I still have a 50 dollar gift card, this ones a no brainer. and I was going to have to worry about Metroid the following month, but it got delayed. but now the TS3 game is looking to pretty solid, so yeah, Its gonna be tough finding the monery for Jessie alone.
I’m hoping to at least get her, then I can stop for a while to save up for the rest.

Oh and i seen pictures of bullseye stand, this one is clear why do you think they decided to make it clear??
My guess is because he’s a four legged character they wanted it to be less visable so you could see the hind legs more easily. with the upright characters it never obstructs anything.
I’m really starting to think this guy doesn’t haven’t a skeleton like was initially reported. why have a stand if he does?
Hopefully just to prevent creasing from being displayed over long periods of time.

EGGY, just wanted to ask how you got hold of Hamm as, if I remember rightly, you too are in the UK. Did you go for it on eBay?
I’d love to get him and I’m still hanging on for Rex too. Luckily I have family off to Florida who may be able to pick a few characters up for me.
Does anyone who has been to Walt Disney World in Florida know if the Disney Store inside the park will be stocking bulky items like the TSC? Also do you think the prices in the parks are inflated compared to outside?

Also, i compared the amazon pic of jessie to the real one and the one on amazon is not the collection version but i know nothing about that bullseye so yeah. my bad about the jessie.
The Jessie is not the TSC, but Bullseye and Lotso are, and they are only $39.99 no tax, free shipping. Too bad I have store credit at Toys R Us and I want them today. I’m definately interested in Chunk and Twitch, but would still like them in the TSC line.
And Lotso is $49.99 at Toys R Us.
The latest Chunk and Twitch look pretty cool. Twitch would be a definite were it not for the “button” in his stomach and apparent lack of magical battle staff (at least judging by his hands which are both “open” and incapable of holding the staff).
And just confirming all the earlier reports about the talking Jessie with “yarn” hair appearing in Australia. I first spotted one a couple of weeks ago, but they’re pretty pricey (around $50.00) and I’m still debating spending $140.00 on Thinkway’s “collection” Rex.
