just completed first wave collection icluding mr potato head. Got the aliens in the mail today and im pretty impressed except for the lack of sqeaking obviously. now onto waVE 2

But alot of us also know you from other places online, and seen similiar tactics (flooding of product) Get a website or myspace to direct us to, otherwise the internet turns into a big flood pool. That is where there are forums, seperate sections etc. But I like said, you do great work.
All that’s guaranteed is that Luxo Jr. is smaller. It said in an article in a Pixar Shorts book that Luxo Sr. was based off John Lasseter Luxo lamp. Since we’ve never seen the lamp, there’s no knowing if there was an identical real-life counterpart.
Bottom line: Luxo has made so many lamps that it will be difficult to know for sure. Maybe an experienced Luxo employee knows the answer.
Huh, it seems that the new Collection items, as well as a few others, have disappeared from Toys R Us’s website.

Maybe they were never meant to be on the sites just yet. maybe June 1st was always meant to be the date.
That’s my guess. Which is kind of annoying really. Then again, most Toys R Us stores already have the shelf space reserved and the prices places (mine included) so it’s hard to say.
I hope they haven’t been delayed, though…

Just saying I wouldnt say there was a delay unless we saw other stores outside of Toys R Us that also have shelves cleared off for them.
I think they want to make sure they dont run out of stock when the movie hits theaters. they make a more limited amount of TSC toys since their more expensive and in less demand. sure, we collectors go for the best, but your average percent will go for the cheapest thing they think their kid will be satisfied with.

We knew about that one, at least I did The description he gave us leads me to believe this is a different one, one that isn’t out yet. And they made a point to tell us that its accurate. they wouldn’t try to pass that one off as being accurate I dont think.
Besides, didn’t they say that the replica one would be a 2-pack with Mrs. P?
I’m not sure, I just assumed they were describing both, not that they were sold together. they normally only do that with interactive characters, like that buzz and Woody pack where they talk to each other. Theres of course buddy packs too, but these aren’t that.

The original description he posted said its due in the Fall, this repackaged one is already on shelves, has been for months. I dont think its the same thing.
Over at the ‘art of ts3’ thread it’s been noted that the charaters have received a slight makeover. The ring pull on Woody has changed and a few other things. It got me thinking about the tsc line. Will the new Woody have this change? Will any of the new figures have the changes made in ts3? I think we know the answer really. It does bring into question just how accurate they are now more than ever. Would you buy a new Woody if he had these minor mods?
Other than the ring (which was already innacurate in the first place), what other mods are we talking about? most of its from wear and tear. things liks stitching is already about as accurate ias it gets in the real world. I dont think they could ever have the collar as perfectly defined like the 3d models. in general really some details are just too small for mass prodoced toys. you’d have to have people as skilled as those who worked on coraline to get a lot of those details in.
I have considered what it might take to fade the jeans a tad though.
