Great to hear about Potato Head and Hamm, but I’m still hoping there might still be a way for Mr Potato Head can come out before the holidays because I’d REALLY hate to see that I couldn’t find him because people bought them all!! 
I know what you mean…also do you think they will do anything special with hamm or just keep him a plan ol’ piggy bank?
I think he might talk when you insert coins in his slot. Just a theory.

now Im starting to get really curious what will be in wave 2, since we now know Hamm and Mr potatohead will still be this year.
My guesses for wave 2 are Jessie, Slink, Mrs potatohead, Bullseye, and stinky pete.
I wonder if there is going to be a third wave…thats the only way I can see characters like zurg making it in. though Im not sure there would be enough characters with wide appeal to make another wave. I can also see them moving stinky pete to this wave instead of the third to make sure the whole woody’s round up gang gets a good share of shelf space.
Also, I doubt very much Hamm and Mr potato head wont be out well before black friday. reason being toys dont show up everywhere at once, so if nothing else it’ll pop up on the west of the US first making it way to the east to be in stores in time for black friday.
I still don’t think a late October release is out of the question.
I hope that they do a bit more for the Jesse deluxe collection figure than they have for the regular figure. I agree they seem to have mis-shapened the jaw a bit on the new release. They also have gone to a plastic hair mold which looks rough. They need to go back to the original figure on both to get the original fiber hair for this one.
Well as long as I can get Mr. Potato Head, I don’t mind. Here’s to hoping his legs can be removed and that he can separate his nose from his mustache! I’m not totally upset that the nose and mustache may be stuck together it’s just that it won’t be as accurate as the movie then and I guess i shouldn’t worry about whether he will have a certificate of authenticity or not. 
Hey, new to the boards. I’ve been following this thread for a few days now since I found out about this collection. The new Buzz looks basically perfect and I’m really pumped to pick him up soon.
On the other hand though, I keep going back and forth on Woody. I’ve wanted an accurate Woody since I was a little kid watching the first movie, the ones they released were never right. A big thing for me was the looseness/thinness of his body which was oddly probably captured best in the talking Woody from BK. But it looks like they finally got that right with this one. My main concern is his face. In the promo shot, it looks really good, though still not accurate, but then in some people’s personal shots it just doesn’t looks right to me. A nice sculpt, but just something’s not right, though maybe in person it’ll be better. I’ll probably end up getting him anyway, but all this leads up to my main question I guess…to anyone’s knowledge has anyone ever released a Woody that had the smile from the movie?
Not to my knowledge. if one exists its probably not to scale at all, but I dont know for sure
and your right about woody, he sometimes looks odd in some people’s pictures, but its all about the lighting.
Just wish I could fix that darn eye…

Kyle, I was able to fix my Woody’s eye by very carefully scraping off the excess paint with an X-Acto knife. Now he’s perfect!
thats good, it looked weird…i have to make sure when i got collection woody it doesn’t have that…but that won’t be for a while cause i’m savin up the spud head:)
Two questions about Woody:
Why are there two holes on the back of his hat? It wasn’t tied to the package with twisty ties or anything like that, so why are there holes?
Doesn anyone else’s stand make small dents in Woody’s neck?
X-Acto knife eh? maybe I’ll try that. I think I like my odds with that over using some like of liquid. but at the same time Im afraid of scratching the plastic. Im trying to ask other people experienced with modding toys/models. you dont happen to have a before and after shot do ya? or at least an after one. I’d like to see just how clean you were able to get it.
As for the holes, I have no clue, but didn’t the 90s versions have that as well? I wonder if it has to do with how they are produced?
About the neck, I haven’t noticed the stand doing anything to the neck on mine, instead the stand itself is starting to turn slightly white from the stress of going back and forth, (Im always changing it up)
My problem with the stand is the base, that front triangle of the star shape that folds out from its original position doesn’t like to stay where it should. Instead of locking into place it bends upward, making the whole thing topple over if Woody isn’t balanced just right. I considered super glueing it but for some reason I like the idea of still being able to fold it up too, so I dunno…
I’ll post a picture soon. I got his eyes to look pretty clean.
The 90s Thinkway Woody’s hat definitely didn’t have the holes on the back.

Has anyone ordered any of these figures from Amazon? I really want a perfect box Woody and cannot find them around stores in my area! I’m afriad to order from Amazon to get a squashed box and not be able to return it.
Side note, I think I may be too obsessed with these now… I had a dream last night that I found Mr. Potato Head and Hamm at a toy shop. Only thing was, Mr. Potato Head was like two inches tall and the Hamm did not have the official Toy Story Collection logo on it! Yeah, I’m obsessed… Oh and during the dream I was thinking, I cannot wait to post pictures of these on the Pixar forum!! LOL!
Tell me about it. I’ve been worrying about Mr. Potato Head forever I mean i used to have an old version of him like three times, but i lost all three of them and I dream about Potato Head everyday even as of now, excited about the day i finally can be reunited with a long lost friend for many years now! 
That goes double for me…i even tried to find an old one to tide me over untill the new came out, but was unsuccessful…anyways does anyone elses buzz have problems with the stickers on his arms peeling off…and any tips to prevent?

On another note, I’m really looking forward to going home this weekend; I’m gonna take a look at some of my old Toy Story merch. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen some of it, but I have quite the TS1 collection. Also hoping I can pick up my Collection Buzz soon with Woody to follow.
