I’d really like to know as well. 
I’ve seen two of these commercials. The first one I just happened to see at my in-law’s house as my son was watching something on Boomerang. That one was for the Toy Story Collection Buzz, but unfortunately I only saw about 15 seconds of it before it was cut off by a local commercial for some car dealership. I was pretty mad about that.
I told my son if he ever saw another one of those commercials, to let me know right away, so I could rewind it and record it. Well, this afternoon, he was watching Teen Titans on Cartoon Network and he saw another one, but this one was not for the Toy Story Collection, but just for the cheaper Buzz and Woody.
Hopefully I’ll see the full Toy Story Collection one soon.
it was on Disney XD. which used to be Toon Disney.
I just caught a commercial for the Toys R Us Big Book, and at the very begining it shows MR.POTATO HEAD standing next to Woody in the ad??? But I don’t recall seeing him there when someone posted the ad online. Does anyone have the Big Book and is he in there???
i have the big book. and i was very dissapointed to find almost no toy story anything in it. The very first page has the cheap buzz and woody and thats it. theres no potato head which sucks

yea I was severly dissapointed he wasn’t in the catalog. I hope he’s released soon because he looks very cool. He does however look off to me in pictures and videos but he’ll probably look better in person. The RC i recently bought is a lot better in person then in the videos so im hoping for the best
Those arent the expensive ones. for one, buzz’s arms dont go down that far. and as mentioned woody’s legs arent that long. and his face looks different.
Edit: after seeing the commercial, I can now tell why they look different, their not even real! lol
see all the custom 3d animation? they did it so it would seemlessly flow from 3d to the flat pages. these were just mock up pages of the book done for the ad.
Its kind of funny seeing their version of the toy story world. even funnier is that as a fan I was about to make a more accurate version of andy’s room than they did, and they got paid to do it. I mean come on, andy’s foot board on his bed has a lot more than 3 pillar things in it.
Anyway, yeah the only actual photo there is Mr potato head, the rest are just 3d models.
mr potato head can like shoot off his feet or something right. because sometimes i see legs and others i don’t so maybe you could push him down more so the legs arent visible. because if he had legs thatd be mad annoying
Well none of us have seen it in action, but thats what we’re assuming. we do know that his parts shoot out, but Im not sure what his feet do. maybe it doesnt come all the way out, but kinda makes him jump up a bit? either way there shouldnt be any doubt that it does go all the way in.
Finally got the accurate soldiers and RC. will post pics soon. even though there are probably enough of those online by now.

I’m debating whether to buy Buzz or RC next. I only have Woody at the moment. Which one is more worth buying, Buzz or RC?
Buzz. He’s still more worth his pricetag than any other, and for a radio controlled car I think RC is a bit over priced (it was $80.00 for me). And its not the best radio controlled car out there. I don’t care for the 5th wheel it uses to turn. So theres 2 draw backs for him to me, he’s slow and turning is awkward. He does have some nice features with all those motion and impact sensors though so it kind of makes up for it. And appearance wise he’s a perfect replica, so for that he’s still worth owning.
but yeah, Buzz is still the best bang for your buck.

Kyle, did you use a Sharpie to color in the stitching that goes over the cow spots on Woody’s vest?
yes, I did.
Did you notice any gray stains on the white of his vest after you did so? I think that the Sharpie is smudging a bit on mine, because it looks like the white of my Woody’s vest is getting dirty.
theres a small smudge on the left side of his vest, yeah. but its kind of hidden, its toward the back, under his arm but near the belt. Im not too bothered by it, if anything it just makes him look aged like he is in the second and third movies. as long as it doesnt get any worse.
Ive heard peanut butter is a good way to get permanant marker off, though not sure if it would work on cloth. probably not a good idea to try it, heh.
i got a buzz today and there is no scratch on his helmet, yah sure his box has dents but i think it makes the box look like it does in the movies
