There’s a couple missing, and a couple extra poses. I don’t really know what to think of the extra poses, since they weren’t in the movie’s, but yet they were still rendered by Pixar.

So I went to my local K Mart today to pick up the hot wheels set with the Red Baron because they’re the only store around me that still carries it in stock AND it was on sale this week.
While I was looking through the Toy Story section I noticed that under the TS3 Slinky’s there is a sale sign so I check it out…$5.99. I think OK, for $5.99 I’ll bite. I’ve never owned one because of the hole in the head, but for that price I wont complain.
I get up to the register and the girl rings up the Hot Wheels set - $12.00…OK. She rings up Slink - $17.99…Not OK. So I tell her there is a sale sign. She looks around literally for over 5 minutes for the front end supervisor. Finally another cashier tells her to turn off her light and go back with me to see if there is a sign.
We go back there and of course there is a sign. She pulls it off and I notice that the regular price underneath is $9.99. I don’t say anything and we go back up. By this time the Front End super (FES) is there and the girl rings it up for the sale price and has the FES come over to approve. The FES wont approve it. She tells me, “you no can have.” So I respond “why?”. “Sir, this is wrong one, sticker is accident.” So i preceded to try and explain that if they weren’t going to give it to me for $5.99 the regular price was still $9.99 not $17.99. She wouldn’t budge so I said fine don’t worry about it.
I pay for my Hot Wheels and I’m walking out and as I’m almost out the door I realize that there is a pretty hidden 2 foot wide isle with all Toy Story stuff.
Now I know you’re probably thinking what does this have to do with the TSC as neither Slink nor the Hot Wheels are TSC. Well…
I look at the bottom shelf and see that they have the TSC Woody and Buzz. Well directly under woody it says Toy Story 1 Rag Doll Woody sheriff - $29.99.
SWEET! Then I realize that it’s a version 1 TSC Woody with the Elbow underneath the sign. Double sweet.
I go back to the same girl, she scans…$59.99. I said," you gotta be kidding me. The sign right underneath it right over there says $29.99." She and the other cashiers start laughing (but in a friendly way). So she calls over miss poor english again and tells her. The lady looks up at me and starts waving her finger and says, “oh no no no…this is wrong one. you no can have.” Now as I start to realize that she only knows how to say those two things, I start to get upset. It’s one thing if one is “accident”, but two…that’s totally screwy.
The cashier looks me dead in the face and says, " Go to the Service desk and ask for a manger and fight it. That’s not right." So I go over and a second FES tells me, “Sorry man the only thing that we can do is fire the person who is putting out the signs.”
I shook my head for about 2.2 seconds and said, “just get me your manager please.”
He pages her, she comes up front and before I can say one word he jumps right to semi-angrily explaining that someone put the wrong sticker and they can’t give it to me for that price especially since it’s such a huge difference. She cuts him off mid sentence and says ,“Michael, we have to give it to him. Just go ring it up, what’s the problem here?”
His face was priceless. So I had to take further advantage of this situation.
I tell her the whole story about slink and “I no can Have.” She looks at Michael and says ,“what the hell is wrong with you people? You know you have to call a manager when things are mispriced even if it is an accident. Now I wonder what you do when customers don’t put up a fight like this gentleman. Please go ring him up and I want to see you afterward.”
Now, do I feel bad that they are going to get in trouble? A little. But victory was sweet and so was getting Slink and TSC Woody V.1.0 for $35 bucks.
And I took the sign with me…

That story is priceless, and I applaud you for making them honor the misprice.
But I do have one question. You mentioned that your new Woody has “the elbow underneath the sign”. I’m not up to speed on all of the Woody packaging variants, so could you explain that detail for me?
Its simple, there are two Woody boxes. the first one had Woody behind the sign (the name plate), the newer one has him in front.
The version 1 box had Woody’s arm underneath the Woody the sheriff sign, and the circle near the top said DUAL TOY SHERIFF & INTERACTIVE WOODY MODES.

The new boxes have his elbow above the sign and they’ve added DELUXE FILM REPLICA ACTUAL MOVIE SIZE to the circle as well as some wording about it being a replica from the movie on the back.

They also did the same thing to the Buzz Boxes.
I’ve seen two versions of the Buzz packaging, one with an oval detail bubble, and the other with a chevron-shaped one. I assume the oval was the earlier version, since the ones in the store now, which have the white TSC background, also have the chevron design.
As luck would have it, I have a first version Woody package (my keep in the package one).
Is there a noticeable rarity difference at this point? I got my TSC Woody for $30 on Amazon, and he was the first edition. Maybe I should have left him in his box?

I REALLY like the TSC toys, but the prices are unbelievable. They’re asking $110 for Rex in TRU and unfortunately, that’s the only place I’ve been able to find him… looks like I’ll be doing my shopping online… 
They had Rex down to $20 at one point on Amazon. I think it was like a lighting deals or something like that.
What a great story Darxide! I definitely would have done the same thing if I was in your position. The store has to honor what the sticker price says, ALWAYS. I’ve dealt with wrong sticker prices at my local Best Buy. They usually don’t take down the sales tags right away and days after the sale is over the item is still marked down. They’re usually thankful when customers bring that sort of thing to their attention and let you have it for the price is was marked down for. I think I need to head to the nearest K-Mart. 
Just tried getting a Bucket of Soldiers at Target today, they only had one left and one side of the handle was broken off. It was weird too that the only TSC merchandise they had was Mr. P, Lotso and the Bucket of Soldiers. The spot where the normal TSC dolls were had a bunch of the deluxe robot Buzz.

Sam’s Club has the TSC Rex for $39. Thats where I got mine in December, price went down by $10.
You can do ship to store, and pickup via a free day pass if you dont have a pass. Free day passes for Sam’s Club are available via quick google searches.
Australia seems to finally be catching up… saw TSC Mr P, Rex, Lotso, Woody, Buzz and Bullsey for $49 (about 42 USD)… and saw the Utility Belt Buzz for 90 :/… 49 is really cheap for Australia, with Woody, Buzz and Mr P being about $80 usually and Rex being $100! I was thinking of picking up one each… maybe with the exception of Mr P and utility belt Buzz
No I didn’t. My collection is pretty small, I have Woody, Buzz and Bullseye.
We don’t have Sam’s Club in California…or at least anywhere near me. Has anyone checked the prices at Costco?

Also, once you take the batteries out do you try to place the tapes back as they were???
Does the TSC REX comes with batteries??? I dont remember him coming with batteries. I need to know in order to be able to remove them from my MIB one.
