Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

NRFB means “never removed from box”. Once I remove batteries, I put everything back as it was as much as possible. Sometimes that means replacing a twist tie or a zip tie that had to be cut. But I don’t always replace all of the tape.

As for Rex, of course he comes with batteries. He wouldn’t be able to have a “try me” mode without them.

I just received my Disney Store Hamm today, there is a rattling noise inside and am wondering if that is normal?

Did you take out the cork and see if you can shake the rattling object out? It could just be a loose piece of resin from the inside surface of the bank. If there are no visible cracks or weakened spots on the exterior, you should be fine.

I tried that first and nothing came out but I just gave it an extra hard shake after you said that and a piece came out so thank you.

The paint apps on my Hamm aren’t the greatest but I can live with that.

was just at TRU looking for Bullseye. They didn’t have him so being pretty annoyed with the fact that he STILL wasn’t there, I asked an employee. And wouldn’t you know it they had him on Saturday and he sold out and now I have to wait til Thursday. I’m pretty flexible but it kinda surprises me that he sold out so quickly because at my TRU they don’t really sell out of the TSC stuff because I see all the same stuff that was there before and it doesn’t even sell a bit. Oh well. I’ll try to go back on Thursday and hopefully I’ll be able to buy him.

I can understand where you’re coming from. A few weeks ago my TRU had about 4 Bullseyes at their store on Wednesday and when I came back on Saturday, there was one hidden behind another toy. I ended up not buying him because someone else clearly really wanted him and because there was some brown paint on his eye.

I used to work at a TRU back when I was in school. Most of the employees have no clue about in demand collectibles and there is not necessarily much rhyme or reason as to how and when the shelves are stocked, as long as they’re in the right sections.

The Bullseye behind the other one may just be a sloppy shelf stocking, or that it hasn’t been straightened up since people have rummaged through it. - At any rate, no one has a claim to something they’ve “hidden” in the store. If it’s there, it’s available for you to purchase.

We never knew what was coming in when. If you’re given a date it’s likely just the date the trucks usually show up.

TTHtv, are you sure the stuff isn’t selling? It may be that they just keep restocking. Or perhaps that the other stuff has already been out long enough that the crazy collectors have already gotten their hands on what they want so it’s not selling as fast. - TSC Bullseye already sold out at toysrus.com, so I’d believe that he sold out of the store immediately.

I was intending to buy it and even picked it up from where it was, but decided against it when I noticed that there was some brown paint on the eye. In hindsight I probably should have gotten him but I was still able to go to another TRU and pick up one without a problem.

My collection feels so empty without having Rex or R/C. I’ve only seen Rex at the Disney Store and they have all the TSC dolls for $20 more than any other store. I don’t remember seeing R/C at TRU either so I could only go to the Disney Store where he is marked for $80-90.

Target has RC for $59.99 (compared to $79.99 at Disney or TRU). Last time I checked they had it available online, and they also have a Search in Store option.

No Bullseyes here in Toledo either and I have been looking at the local TRS almost daily for them. The staff has said that they do not know when they will see them come in and my best bet is to just keep checking back. The Disney Store is the same way and they offer them at the high end suggested retail; so I will keep looking at the local TRS and see if they do end up coming in soon.

After searching for a while I finally got bullesye. I still need to find hamm and get rex so I can finish Andy’s toys from TS3. Although I also need to possibly get the correct bucket of soldiers since I got the version without the certificate a long time ago before I knew about the one that does come with it.

I just added a pic of him. I didn’t realize how big he was going to be.

Another update for Aussie collectors:

Thinkway’s “collection” Jessie is shown in Target’s Toy Sale catalogue (starting on 22 July 2010) for $49.00. They’re also offering Thinkway Woody and Lotso for this price (although the latter are available from tomorrow for that price from K-Mart).

The variant Thinkway Buzz (with belt) is listed at $69.00.

What’s the deal with Thinkway putting tags on Jessie and Bullseye? Not too big a deal, I’ll just cut them off, but still. I’m glad Woody doesn’t have one.

I thought Woody’s tag was under his vest.

Oh does he? I actually don’t have him yet, I just don’t remember ever seeing a tag in pictures. Makes sense though if it’s hidden. Guess the tags aren’t new additions then.

You can’t cut the tags off! It’s punishable under law.

Says so right there!!!

Also, thanks for the tip on the Jessis’ in Oz. I overpaid for Potato Head because I didn’t know they were comign here.

So far though, great deals on Bullseye and RC which should make up for it.

Its only punishable if they claim they made the item or resold it

Its there property so they can cut it off, but he still gonna leave a noticeable white mark

he could tear it out, which does look better, but risk loosening the stitching.

Yeah that’s why I was kind of disappointed to see the tags on Jessie and Bullseye just cause even removing them there’s going to be some remaining. There’s obviously some legal issue requiring tags on plush type toys.

I am leaving to go to camp tomorrow for 4 weeks, I’m dissapointed because I wanted to get Bullseye before I went :frowning: Hopefully my parents will surprise me with Bullseye when I get back  Can anyone tell me what the 10 sounds he makes are? Also, does he play the whole Woody’s roundup theme song?
