K-Mart prices are fairly reasonable now… shame they aren’t dong the same thing with RC :/… I tried picking up a utility belt Buzz yesterday, but it was $90… I think I will hold off for a while…
I think it’s Big W who are doing RC for $99. They were $150 when TrU had them last year when I bought Woody and Buzz. Sheesh cannot believe it’s that long ago!
I chanced ordering Bullseye and the 3 henchmen from ToysRUS online on Sunday, and they came in today, which, with the free standard shipping, was pretty impressive I thought. The figure itself was flawless, the eyes were in the right positions and there were no wrinkles. The only thing that bothered me were there was a small mark under the eye where it looked like paint had been spilled on it, but it’s barely noticeable. The stand is another story. I put the pegs in, and then tried to move it, not realizing it was a one time fit sort of thing, and the top part came off of the peg. It’s easily fixable, but it came off really easy, and I was wondering if anyone here has had that problem with their Bullseye stands.
I also ordered my Bullseye from TRU over the weekend and he arrived today. Box and Bullseye in great condition. But I didn’t take him out of the box yet to check the stand.
RC is $98.00 as part of Big W’s Toy Sale. I haven’t seen RC anywhere else except for Toys R Us and it is not part of their current Toy Sale so it would still be at least $140.00 (or more).
I wish somewhere other than TRU would get stock of the three-pack of aliens. It’s ridiculous that TRU are charging $50.00 for the three aliens when everywhere else is offering Thinkway versions of Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Bullseye, Rex and Lotso for the same price!

If you’re in the US, Walmart has RC for $60, Target for $60 as well. Aliens for $25 at target.
After reading that story about K-Mart, I went today to see what i find and I got Mr.P for $39.99 and I also got a Hotwheels Playset called To Infinity and Beyond for $10.00 and I saw a sale sign for Buzz but they ran out.
I’m heading to K-Mart tomorrow, hoping to get a Rex… I am also debating getting either Bullsey or Buzz as well… might go for Buzz, as he is more expensive when the sale is not on…
If so, K-Mart should have plenty of Rex figures. My local had over 20 and they had not even put out their “sale” stock. Even if they have sold out, K-Mart’s policy is that even if the item isn’t on the shelf, you can still lay-by it (although I’m not sure of the precise terms and conditions in respect of when you can pick-up the item).
Given that Thinkway Rex has been retailing for $140.00 and Buzz for $100.00 at “full-price”, Rex presents the better saving. But it might be a good idea to grab one of the two and put the other one on lay-by since K-Mart’s sale prices are so very good (that is, CHEAP).
Quick question; is there something I can use to clear the scratches off of Buzz’s helmet? How about little paint smudges on Woody’s face, like a speck-streak of brown on his chin.
To remove the paint you will need a solvent such as acetone, but be careful, because it will soften any paint it touches. Some of the real artists on the forum can probably give you better advice than I can, though. For the scuffs, I can’t recommend the Novus Polish Kit enough.
I used it on my TSC Buzz, and his helmet now sparkles like glass.
