Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

Thinkway has NOT announced a wave 3 or any more figures. Sorry pal

i know i just was hopeing but wave 3 is sort of announced becouse they say they have not finalized wave 3 so there is a small posibility and wasent lotso sapost to be in wave 3 and he got moved bake to wave 2

Well still, nothing has been announced. I never heard that about Lotso, but it could be true i guess.

Someone awhile back (I forget exactly who, sorry).posted the product Serial #s for all the TSC toys. They seemed to go in a consecutive sequence, and 2 things were suggested beCause of this: 1) Mr. P. Was among all the wave one toys, so apparently he was originally supposed be in this group but was delayed. 2) there was a huge gap between Lotso and the rest of Wave 2, suggestIng that there are toys that have the numbers to fill that gap and will make up a third wave.

I just ordered a TSC Rex a few hours ago. I saw him in the Disney Store before (only place I’ve seen him in person) and he’s HUGE! :open_mouth: Just thought I’d post this

How much does a toy from the Thinkway Collection normally run for? Wasn’t it like $70 at one time? I’d like to ask for some for Christmas, but I don’t want to break the bank.

Toy Story Collection “figures” (I use the term loosely as half of them are “Dolls”) are generally at $49.99 at full price. You can find them cheaper if you hit sales/clearance. Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Bullseye, Potato Head, Rex, and Lotso are typically at the $49.99 point. RC is more expensive at $69.99-$89.99 depending on where you can find him. 3 Pack Aliens are about $30, and Target has individual boxed aliens for $9.99 each, and the Bucket 'O Soldiers is about $12 at most places.
As for “Replicas” that are not part of the collection, just for reference is Slink for about $15, and Disney Store Hamm for $19.50 if you can find him.

If you want to get them for Display/Gentle Play and are more concered on looks, it is definently worth it for most though, but it is pretty expensive if you want a good set of characters. But if you can find them where they have multiples, it’s always a good idea to look over the Toys from the package. You always want to pick the best one, especially for the price. Since you are concerned about Breaking the Bank and christmas is still a bit away, i’d say keep a close eye on your local Targets, they seem to be eliminating shelf space and clearancing certain toys for cheap. Good Luck! Hope this is some help!

It is very helpful! Thank you OneEyedBart95!

Just got RC recently. I think he’s really underrated. I’ve certainly had more fun with him over all my other toys which are just for displaying. I’ve been driving him all over my house on the hardwood floors and carpet. Just wanted to ask, playing with him on carpet or just playing with won’t damage him at all right? (I’ve been making sure he never hits anything). I’m just making sure playing with him won’t damage his display value. Especially playing with him on the carpet

Re: Electronics in the “Collection” figures

I’d prefer if the “Collection” toys were identical to the toys in the film - including both appearance and features/electronics/gadgets.

In respect of Bullseye, since the electronics don’t detract from his appearance/play-value, then I don’t mind the added features. I have more of an issue with Mr Potato Head, but that just meant I saved money by not buying him.

^Wow. That’s pretty basically EXACTLY my opinion.

What OneEyedBart95 said, but also at my Target they have TSCs at $44.99 sometimes as the list price. You’ll see them for $59.99 in a lot of places, but don’t pay that when you can get the same thing for ten bucks less. Unless it’s something rare like Rex or Bullseye. [/b]

I think i might get bullseye on ebay
is there any site selling him

just wanted to post this again since it got pushed to the last page

Not at all, they were made for play above all.

I can’t get RC to hit things even when I try, thanks to his collision avoiding sensors. I can’t even torment my cat. Whats the point of owning an RC car in the first place when I can’t do basic things like that?

LOL my cat is still scare of the noise RC makes but your right, he can’t even hit a cardboard box like in the movie

Just got an email back from Thinkway…

“There will be more characters added in 2012 but the selection has not been finalized.”

So 2012?

Woo, glad to hear there will be more characters added. But 2012 is a bit of a way away, unless this next wave is going to be the biggest!

Yep 2012 seems too far away!! I want a Trixie!

2012 sounds totally wrong. The blu ray will have done the rounds and the hype will be over. If it’s true, it’s the dumbest decision I’ve heard in a long time.
