How exactly did you remove and reattach the buttons? I would love to replicate this myself. Thanks!

I took an X-acto knife and cut the old buttons off the TSC Woody carefully so as to not cut any part of the actual shirt. Then I cut the buttons off the regular Woody the same way. I simply glued the new buttons back in the exact same spot as the old ones with superglue. It came out great, you cant even tell they were replaced.

Anyone have a problem with their TSC Mr. Potatohead not working after sitting for awhile? Mine doesn’t work anymore. He talks and stuff, but it seems like something is jammed and it makes a really loud ticking sound. I’m thinking it has something to do with the motor, but who knows.

Took way longer than I ever anticipated, but I finally got TSC Woody, and I gotta say, I’m kind of disappointed. I knew they way he did his arms wasn’t ideal, but it’s a lot worse than I expected. I really wanna try making some modifications but it’s hard to start ripping apart a $50 item. Has anyone seen anyone who made any significant modifications, specifically to the arms?

The arms are fine…unless you got unlucky.

Having the arms out to the side would make his pose look super awkward.

A diffrerence between the Collection and Signature Collection Buzz Lightyear is that the glow in the dark paint is slightly thicker, making it grittier. I know this because I recently bought Buzz again due to my old Buzz’ wrist communicator not working. I don’t know if any other of the Signature Collection toys have any differences from the Collection ones.

Hello everyone, I am a new member on Pixar Planet, but definitely not new to the forum itself. Does anyone know where I could find TSC Dolly, Buttercup, Utility Belt Buzz, and Mr. Potato Head besides Ebay, or any other of the rarer toys for that matter. :wink:

I’d say not to get Mr. Potatohead, I have had the same issue as GreenArmyMan, he doesn’t move side to side anymore, just makes an obnoxiously loud clicking sound. Sadly, I’ve found out mine was broke before it was too late to get a replacement body. Not saying you’ll get a broke one, just beware.

That’s not really a good reason not to get him. I bought him on clearance at ToysRUs after putting it off for a long time. I kept watching the price go lower and lower and realized it was a matter of time before they pulled him off the shelve and then I would regret not getting him. Although mine still works, I never turn him on anyways. He sits happily amongst the rest of the crew in my display.:slight_smile:

The four of us who had this problem must have been really unlucky, then.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why they didn’t bring him back under the “Signature Collection” line.

Lucky. Mine is broken and just sits in my chest. If they ever do bring him back, I’d probably get him again and hope he doesn’t have this problem.

on my tsc woody, where his bandana is it looks like he has a rash. anyone else got that problem?

I had that problem with the '95 Woody. The dye is rubbing off onto his neck; I don’t think there’s much you can do, but it should be pretty concealed.

Mine has a similar problem, it looks like he has a tan where the stand connects to his neck. There’s also two dents where the stand pinches his neck.

I found no way around that problem. With the dent issue, I thought it was the clamp, and Thinkway supplied me with two replacements. Unfortunately, the problem persisted (though plastic eventually did settle back into place). To counter the problem, I just bought a different type of stand, which clamps him from the torso rather than the neck:
