I wouldn’t say he would never be produced again. It’s unlikely, but if they make a Mrs. Potato Head, they may bring Mr. Potato Head back. Very unlikely though.

Hi there,

I have 2 Toy story Collection Buzz & Rex (picture only shows one of each) BNIB that I’m looking to sell. I originally bought these for my boys as an investment but have since decided that money could go on other things. I’m in New Zealand so bear in mind shipping could be quite high depending on your location.

The market place is pretty small in my country for these types of items and I’m not comfortable using Ebay now they have introduced the buyer protection scheme as I feel it heavily disadvantages international sellers so I thought I would give here a shot. Would prefer to sell in one lot for convenience but am open for offers if you want to pm me. Otherwise I’m open for suggestions for an alternative marketplace to sell these which are fair on international sellers.

Used an old photo but am happy to take some better shots once I get them out of storage.

Signature Collection Rex and Buzz Lightyear with utility belt was last sold in 2010 and we manufacture by orders only so supply of toys depends on the retailers.

The part that I bolded in their response gave me an idea: Why don’t we have a large storm of collectors send e-mails to stores like ToysRus and Disney Store to show our interest in more toys?

Since Thinkway only manufactures to retailers if they show interest, our e-mails could compel these stores to re-release the rest of the Toy Story Collection. What do you guys think?

Actually a better response than the people who are quick to pounce on Thinkway for their hard-to-find products. Definitely worth a shot; there’s nothing to lose in stating your interest for Toy Story Collection toys at those major retailers (IMO Disney Store is probably the best shot).

Yeah, I feel that telling the retailers what we want would make more sense in the long run than shouting at the suppliers. Now all we need is more support…

I also went with TRU since they still sell a majority of the Toy Story Collection.

I have some more underwhelming news. I previously e-mailed both Disney Store and ToysRus about the Toy Story Collection…this is what I received:

Kyle… thanks for listing out the various details and differences . This really makes things easier for collectors who can’t decide which toys to go for.

By next year… I hope to start my Toy Story collection starting with the original Thinkway toys from the 90s and will then move on to these new ones.

Currently the only one I got is my holy grail of Toy Story toys… the first Woody toy (Poseable with wires… which was discontinued later for being a child safety hazard)

Hey Folks, new here. Love the site. Took a long time for me to sign up, due to the security code.

Kyle had mentioned me here as I’m in the process of making a custom Slinky dog, all from scratch, and all built with prescision. Wont be ready for about a week. Also, will be doing eye kits for Mr. P for those looking for a set of eyes, and not conjoined Rocky Dennis eyes that are highly inaccurate. I had thought of doing other parts on him as well, but I think I’ll just do the eyes for folks as everything else on him looks pretty kickass. (the eyes will be done via a silicone mold, clay pour to recast the eyes and fix the seperation, remold in silicone, etc) Figure I would post that info, as others may get to it before me, and since posting things of seperate eyes initially, others have taken lead on other forums via word of mouth. So everyone helping is very cool.

Here is my collection so far (looking to get rid of the 95’ Bo Peep, Hamm, and Mr. Mike). Cant wait to get Lotso, the 1:1 ts3 Chunk, and to see if the Stretch is to scale or not. So far the picture in package looks awesome. The more Ts3 clips I watch or rewatch, the more I like Lotso. I love how he says “fo-eva” hahah.

Why Would You Get Rid Of Bo Peep, Hamm, & Mr. Mike?

(All 3 for $70 shipped. MUST GO TO A COLLECTOR (I do have the boxes for Hamm and Bo Peep, in near mint condition but they’re at my parents in IL ready to be sent here or to the buyer). I may have the Mike box, but I cant recall %100 that I do, so I wont over speak.
If I see this on ebay, I will be pissed, pm me or email
Just wanting to raise some dough to counteract the TSC RC, while at the same time giving someone a damn good deal. I bought all 3 of those personally in 95 and they’ve been well taken care of. I really dont want to part with these, but I also really dont want to pay 4 times the amount for RC when I have the funds to get it, so thats why the sale.)

Hey guys, i just came back from the post office with the TSC rex
and here are some pics comparing the 30.00 rex in toys r us from thinkway
to there TSC Rex

Height:

Length

The 30.00 rex can turn his head 360 and his legs aren’t as tight as the TSC rex
but the TSC rex is HUGE just like the movie, he is the most accurate one

The TSC Rex Is Too Big To Fit On My Shelf, So I Choose The 30.00 Rex In Toys R Us From Thinkway!
